I'm pretty sure that you were around even before I joined the sit (certainly before I became active, at all) and you, sir, have run some of the most imaginative and entertaining to read games as I've ever seen on this site. On top of that, you created the Mith'ganni, which gave me the inspiration to create on of my most beloved (and, dare I say it, signature) characters in Nyx Shyndyn! That, if nothing else, makes you a pillar in my eyes, sir!

That said; it looks as if our beloved Inn is experiencing a resurgence, thanks, in part, to this thread, I believe, and, also, in equal parts, to the efforts of many of our other, long-standing Innmates and an influx of new ones, of late! So, I doff my hat to the Innmates, old and new, for everything that each and every one of you contributes (or has contributed... or WILL contribute) to making this place what it is!

I just joined, and I must admit that stumbling across threads titled as this one is...well, less than inspiring

Don't let the title fool you, the Inn is far from dead as you can easily see. Sometimes all it takes to get us all off our ass's is the worry that something we love may no longer be around anymore.

So welcome, look around, join a game or two (Hint I'm recruiting) and just enjoy your time here at the Inn.

James, if you had been here a few weeks ago, the title would have seemed appropriate. We've seen a couple of games jump up since then, activity has spiked more than 1000 page views per day on average... so maybe this thread was premature.

Well, Eol...that certainly is flattering. I'm glad you found such inspiration in one of my creations that really came as a spurred idea, eventually manifesting into something I was really quite proud of as a species. So, for your hallmarked character to be a part of that...that's a pretty hefty compliment towards my abilities as a creator.

So, thank you. Its things like that which leave my mind starting to turn about how to make time to try to run something once more. Though, you know my style and my preferences towards realism, so I'd have to make a very dedicated run at it if I were to make the efforts once more...

@TannTalas As the title says - I had tabletop phase, RTS phase, TBS... my all-time favorite Warhammer is R.I.P. Warhammer Online - they had to shut it down to make me stop playing.

Till death do us part... Now, I'm basically waiting for things that will launch 2017 ( or - god forbid! - 2018 ).

Speaking of 2E, my first ever was Jumping Jack back in 80s. But I, kinda, um, left it behind...couple decades ago...
