Sir. Sadaar
Just a quick note on your post - it doesn't look like the Doc was "rising to help" as in being threatening. But trying to draw attention away from the situation. Also, while the Doc's first statement was to the merchant, the second one went to everyone in the tavern, I believe.
I don't know if that changes your post at all.

Are we waiting on something in particular?
Also.. yes. Doc was purposely causing attention away from the confrontation in a hopes to alleviate some tension in the room.
Yes his first comment was only to the merchant and second was a broad general address to the room as a whole. can only communicate with those I have visual Line of sight on, it would have come across almost like a nagging whisper at the back of everyone's minds. Not forceful, but present. I view his telepathy when used in a broad general sense like when you're brain overhears the dozens of tidbits you do everyday. You don't really pay attention to it in detail but something catches your attention enough to potentially try to tune in to what's said.. like in a busy work environment when someone calls your name it triggers attention even though it's not forceful.

@Nomad
I am aware, but Reynard isn't exactly that perceptive (8 wisdom). I figure that he would be thinking 'Oh hey, everyone is getting up' vs the distraction; although, he would figure that out shortly after. I am kind of playing around with Reynard being a human and being exposed to stereotyping vs his belief that everyone should work together.
Thanks for pointing it out though. I have the tendency to overlook things while writing.

As we begin
First, did we decide on travelling during the day or night? Since "most people" travel during the day according to our DM, I'd say lets go during the day. But what say the rest?
Second, Morrigu is making it really hard to like/trust her. This seems to be how you created the character and are deliberately running her. But I want to make sure it is clear - even though Trossach can't see the arguments inside her head, his reaction to her so far would be entirely negative. I'm not a big fan of inter-party conflict, so it is something to keep an eye on. But I can work with a character that is a bit "odd."

.
I say travel during the "normal" travel time; aka day.
With respect to Morrigu I also hope that party conflict is not the intention. I can deal with the weirdness part but not if it gets too far out of hand and causes issues for the party. Players know the thoughts, characters do not but...
Ochit by no means likes her and his sense of fairness and hatred of bigotry are what drove his actions in that last encounter.

daytime travel
Entirely up to you. Both can be done and Morrigu definitely would have travelled during the night as she has sunlight sensitivity.
Additionally: Sirsid, you haven't gotten any proficiencies to me for your skills. Do you want me to give you a list of those?

Skills...
I have them. They are right after the HP/Saving Throws/ proficiency bonus. I do notice now that I messed up and have athletics at +3 instead of +5. Would you please correct that? Apparently, I forgot the additional skill which comes from being a human variant. Could persuasion +4 be added to his list?

day vs night
while being a drow would have it's penalties during the day. Waiting to night has more immediate plausible negatives... the foremost being.. 'hours of wasted time to let others get ahead of us'.
So that being taken into consideration Doc would say go by day. Morrigu can stand in Ochit's shade lol.

I feel Crowe made it pretty clear he was ready to get moving now, no point in letting the other groups get all the money, or ANY of the money for that matter.

Daylight it is
We haven't heard from the Drow yet, but it seems the rest of the group is in agreement on daytime travel. Lets begin this journey!

In the interest of saving time
and not waiting another week for an update in interest of 'convincing' morrigu.
If 5/6 people are ready to move out. Let's face it given the time limit the5 people would probably just go with or without the 'crazy drow with schizophrenia' or whatever she has.
Now, from an OOC perspective we dont wanna do that. Can it not be said that we convince her and 'backpost' after the update' about what was said / her reactions to get this little adventure moving.
Doc has little issue with walking near her holding his shields up like umbrellas for shade. Gives him a closer chance to inspect the subject of everyone's curiosity lol. Given my sheer size difference on her and two shields I should be able to 'although looking silly' provide quite a bit of cover for our solar afflicted she-witch.
