Combat Map
So I went ahead and did a map. As you'll note by the X marked by your character's initial, you 4 are still within the cover of the trees... I may update the map as combat progresses, but that may be too much, especially since I inked over the pencil so it would scan easier. I did not plan to spell Zim, that's the initials you wonderful people gave me to work with, I assumed, with the dog leading the way he's be up front and that Iara likely would have felt more comfortable with an escort on either side, should some danger have cropped up during the hike through the woods. If that doesn't sound right to you, feel free to speak up, no one knows your character better than you after all.

We are the ZIMS
I love it!
Marching order is good by me. A thought before we jump into combat, Iara could try and hit a few of them with a charm before they know we are there and feel all threatened and resistant. What do you all think about that strategy?
Would the Charm glamourie immediately alert the others to our presence and give them the threatened ST bonus? Wondering if we could use the cover of surprise to deal with this non violently... I mean, we just need to catch them, right?

Charm
It would appear that you can only affect one target with Charm at your current level, multiple targets can be selected starting at 16 from what I understand. As a Charmed target would need to see/hear you I am going to have to say that the remaining bandits would then gain the bonus as you make your presence known.

Plans
If Iara is thinking of charming one of them, I reccommend one of the big ones with the axes. If this is our plan of action Mattia would move to the edge of the treeline, so he'd still have some cover but be within range for his Pistol. From there he'd probably attack whoever tried to go for Iara first and put them down.

We need another ally
Thanks for clarifying, Shield Wolf.
I'm fine with trying to Charm one of the big axmen. If we're all on board with that scheme them I'll post up soon.

Charm
So what exactly does charm do? In the old days it basically let you control another person. I don't think it is nearly as powerful anymore. So is the intent to just keep one of them out of the fight? He wouldn't fight for us, right? So what is the goal and what is the timing? Do we all shoot together?
Zick's standard method of fighting is going to be to fire a bomb (Does 2d6+4 to one person, but does have some splash damage I need to double check on.) with his splashbow. After that he would probably chuck them by hand since it takes a round to load the bow. He would stay under cover.
Note: The bomb does "hit" one target. But it does splash damage - although it isn't exactly clear to whom. Zick would aim at the middle person at one of the tables hoping to splash on to both of the others. Can it splash onto both? Not sure. That is a question for our DM.
Also, Zick can make an extract that would make one of us 2x normal size. Puppy (Sorry, working on names...) seems like the best choice now or later for that.

bomb
A hit deals direct hit damage to the target, and splash damage to all creatures within 5 feet of the target.

Quick question
Am I in human form right now? If it's a surprise round, does that mean we all get to move and they don't move? Or if I wanted to do a cone effect, I'd have to account for them moving

re: Impulse
You were in dog form, tracking the bandits, you may shift into either human or hybrid as you see fit.
Surprise round means you all get to act before they get a chance to react. so as long as you can get into range for your cone you are free to do so.

awesome
okay, quick question for my magic missile, i have two projectiles I believe? Correct me if I'm wrong.
As well, how much of the dream web can I put up during the surprise round? Will they prevent them from reaching my allise as welL?

re: Impulse
One missile, your ability is at Caster Level 2, a second projectile is not added until CL3.
The Web works similar to a net, and can cover a 20 ft radius thread.

Attack!
Assuming we are going to attack I am going to post for Zick - as previously noted, he'll use his splash bow to launch a bomb. I'll aim at the left table since that is the side of the show I am on.

Interesting
Was looking over my sheet to decide on using grit or not and came upon this.
At 3rd level, as long as the gunslinger has at least 1 grit point, she gains the following benefits. First, she gains a +2 bonus on initiative checks. Furthermore, if she has the Quick Draw feat, her hands are free and unrestrained, and the firearm is not hidden, she can draw a single firearm as part of the initiative check.
So during the initiative roll I can have my weapon ready to fire immediately. Also I will be using Up Close and Deadly to at least deal damage even if I miss, which shouldn't happen unless these guys have a scary high Touch AC
At 1st level, when the pistolero hits a target with a one-handed firearm that is not making a scatter shot, she can spend 1 grit point to deal 1d6 points of extra damage on a hit. If she misses with the attack, she grazes the target, dealing half the extra damage anyway. This is precision damage and is not multiplied if the attack is a critical hit.
