Bri - Brianna's compalint about Stan will be noted and acknowledged (not ignored). While Crewman Stowbrieski's actions may reasonably be 'justified' as the actions of a panicked man swept up in the confusion and chaos of a starship gone critical that doesn't mean that there wouldn't be some sort of consequences for him... thing is - and this is the point I've been
trying to make in regards to Stan all along - it
doesn't matter what Starfleet or even ship security might do or consider doing to Stan for his actions because, quite frankly, Stan is very likely to 'disappear' before anything
can be done. You see, it's not a matter of 'Eol and Brom wanting Stan off the hook"
, it's a matter of "Stan" having a specific and key role in this adventure being able to move forward. This cannot happen if Stan's in the brig, the object of an investigation or inquest, or otherwise under 'intense scrutiny'...
I've decided to 'steal some time' that I should be using for other things today in order to get a post written/finalized for Mac... and Stan... that should bring the 'What about Stan' thing to a screeching halt soon, anyway... then we'll all be back to wondering 'whodunnit'
. With a bit of luck (and some 'jump about' where backposts are concerned) we'll be nudging forward by tomorrow.
EDIT: Just re-read this and realized that it could be interpreted as me being 'snarky' or 'snotty'. FYI that is not how any of that was intended. Just reinforcing that in the "grand scheme" Stan's disposition/fate/whathaveyou is going to essentially be a non-issue.
Apologies to anyone who may have taken offense, there.
