I'd love to have him.
Healing magic might be nice. But whatever.

I'll second the motion.
Blammm's always welcome as far as I'm concerned. I like his writing, and the depth of his characters.
We could certainly use more healing magic. I may be wrong, but isn't Kilgim a dual-class? If not, I don't mean to offend, Pekka, but a more powerful cleric would be really handy, and worshipping a human god might be nice as well.

Healer in yer midst
Thanks for the encouragement, folks.
If cleric is the favoured position, so be it.
Al, can I get a list of gods and goddesses and their portfolios? (specifically, human and halfling)
I've got a couple of ideas in my head. I think my race will be either human or halfling.
I was thinking druid, but I'm bettin' I could come up with an earthy-cleric.
One tree-huggin', soul-healin', earthy cleric coming up.

Blammm-O!!!
Concurred that Blammm does, in deed, rock the house character-wise. Addition to the party... yup... he'd be fantastic!
Character? Looks as if he's going the healer route so... yay for healing... what we really need, though, is a character who's a mana-fountain!

Mana-fountain
By mana fountain, did you mean a guy with aboat load of mana? Or a guy who's able to supply you mana-pig mages with the goods?
That does bring up two big questions:
1) How does mana work? How do you determine how big one's "pool" is?
2) Is there a way to "share the love around"? i.e. be a mana pool for someone else? (the Midnight campaign setting has a "heroic path" like thi... the guy can't cast magic himself, but he can "heighten" the magic of his allies...)

Mana
I really need to write this up properly....
Man is a system of spell points that you use instead of memorizing spells. a first level spell is 1 point, 2nd level is 2, etc etc.
Mana is calculated by taking the 2nd edition mage spells allowed chart and adding them together based on the above points. So if you would have had 4 first, 3 second and 2 third; your mana would be 4+6+6=10. Then add a bonus for every intelligence point over 15. Thus with an 18 intelligence, the above example would be 4+6+6+3=13. If a mage runs out of mana, then he/she can still cast spells at the cost of hit points. This leads to risking Wizard's twilight and death.
Mana can not be shared, passed on, or whatever. There are no potions of mana, or outlets to plug into. There are artifact that will give you a bonus in mana (a ring of +3 mana) and extremely rare as mana multipliers (X2 mana bracers). There are rumours of a evil class of mages called Incantresses that can rob others of mana and the spells out of their heads, but you haven't met one yet. And no, the third part of the campaign will not be a romp through one of their hidden lairs. (promise)
Clerics don't use mana. They can choose from any prayer they are allowed as per the 1st edition system (I think)
Does that help?

Postage due
I'll do my best to get some posts in...RL is taking way too much out of me.
Yay to Robert rejoining as another charrie...yay to Blamm joining with more healing (though Dapple manages, for the most part, and she usually won't let you get close enough to heal, anyway

Waaaaaaaaah!!!!
I wanna go to the far reaches of northern Ontario, too! Betcha the help desk would never find me there! You all have fun and be safe.
Raven - loverly post, my friend.
Roger - I've got Matthias all but wrapped up as far as the character sheet, etc, is concerned... a bit of finish work to do on the background and some equipment to buy, but otherwise, he and Clyde will be anxiously awaiting part 3!

Yay
Yes Lance. You got it right. Kilgim (might I dare to point out, that there is no 'r' in the name) , is indeed a fighter/cleric and as a healer not the best. He is after all a priest of a dwarven war god. So a full priest would certainly be more than welcome. Then again which ever character you'd like to play, Blamm, it'll suit me. A druid would be nice too.
Eol, dear friend. Thanks for the kind words.
As for my lack of posting... I've been busy with work. Too busy. So busy, it's been getting on my nerves. Then there's the baby and one tired mom. Oh and I was away on holiday for a month or so. Excuses, excuses, I know. But when I'm really tired, coming up with a post in a non-native language seems to eat up a lot of energy or at least requires me to concentrate very much.
Will do better now that I'm back at work and work seems more quiet at the moment.. Always loved to play with you guys.

You have been woofed.
Okay. Give me some time to up your characters and get the next one started. Should have a new mage (Eol) and a cleric (Blammm) to help out this time.
