Poison put a hand on his face. "I love you more." She wasn't Dawn. She meant it, and she never went back on what she said. Poison stared into his face, wondering if he knew that.

He felt her hand and shuddered. She was made of a different type of energy than Dawn. It was rougher energy, a more commanding, more sinister force. The kind of power that says, "I'm shy on the outside, but I don't mess around, I can fend for myself." He liked that, a lot. He was pretty partial now to tougher, rougher, women.

"Is that so?" he twirled a thread of her hair around his forefinger.

"I live passionatley, I love the same." Poison smiled. Her back tingled slightly: her tattoos energy responded to Adrian.

"Look like we have a little in common. More than I thought anyway."

Her breath was hot on his face, and it smelt like a soft mint, fresh, crisp, assertive. He liked assertive.

"Oh, early warning... I have tattoos. Be careful when you touch them: all my energy is stored there." Poison moved her hand to his shoulder and kissed his cheek.

"What makes you think I'll be touching any tatoos eh?" he smirked playfully, and ran a hand across her back, over her tatoo. A wonderful burst of energy flowed into him.

Poison stuck her tongue out at him. "I'm serious, love! It might get you full of shadows!" She flicked his nose.

"That" he pulled away from her a tad so he could look her in the face, "might be problematic. If I can't touch your back, how am I going to hold myself up?"

He was jumping to conclusions now, and he almost laughed. He didn't think she would be offended.

"Just stay focused on not stealing my power. This." She grabbed his wrist and put it on her back. "Is fine. Just be careful." Poison smiled.

"I have tatoos all over me too, only one part of my body is safe...you can't touch anywhere else. I feel myself getting weaker now...hurry..."

He smiled. He liked that joke...he would have to remember that one.

"Can I at least touch it a little...it felt so good..."

He smirked.

"Besides, our abilities are near opposites...I can't steal anything from you...well...a few things...but thats not what I have in mind."

"Technically, yes you could steal it from me. And it would hurt BOTH of us. But you can touch them, if you want." Poison sighed. Her golden rule (Her only rule) had just been broken.

He could tell he shouldn't touch her too much.

"I won't touch 'em. Don't worry, I can TRY to keep my hands still...you just gotta not move too much."

He thought hard. If her energy was stored somewhere, that means his was as well. He thought hard, then he recalled the sword. Good God...if it was destroyed, so was he. Why did his have to be a material object...

"My energy is stored in my sword."

He thought about what he'd just said.

"That sounded wrong..."

Poison was trying not to laugh. "You think?" She smiled. "It's still safe. How do I know? You're alive." Her smile faltered. "You'll have to keep it safe."

He looked down at her.

"Thats not exactly what I'm interested in right now."

Poison looked confused. "I don't understand..."
