No room on Inn

You have two brothers that are will to share a room. A girl, a Bodyguard and a wedding planner. I'd say you need 4 rooms or possibly three if the Bodyguard wishes to stay in same room as Girl.

In addition...

Jon doesn't know about the lack of vacancy due to not knowing about Catie's arrival yet.

Yeah, that will be an interesting conversation between him and Stephanie...

Another possible workaround is Catie temporarily sharing a room with another person for this trip. I'm uncertain how viable that option is, however.

She might

She might be sharing a cot in Stephanie's room while Jon spends the night in a very empty bed.

Yep that would work

I doubt Catie would have any objections to room sharing. Then she has dibs on #8 when vacancy is available.

I think this works

Progression

Had a great little collaboration with MMV that I was just itching to get out. There's a ton of Chinese. If you'd like me to translate it, I can. But suffice to say, it's a bunch of colorful swear words.

Tess seems to be the type that doesn't really use too much Chinese unless she's riled up about something.

Sorry For The Slows...............

I guess I'm holding things up, sorry. With this four day weekend I thought I'd have plenty of time. BUT I forgot about how family and shopping goes on. We even put up the Christmas trees last night. After 40 years of collecting ornimants it do take a bit.

So I'll really try to get some things up today. I need to finish with Badger, Roger reminded me we haven't talked payment yet. I have to read back on whether the either the two are female. Jon is already figuring where to put folks and he isn't planning to put any in the crew area even if one of those rooms are open. The "Pricess" may have her own room and the others share or some sleep in the cargo bay.

Then we'll start to head back so Tess can get her comm from Grace and there will be some general talk about the fare.

Sounds like Catie is planning to put in a little Feng Shui in her room plan. Maybe a relationship between Kua numbers and locations. We'd have to figure the birth year of each crew member. I hadn't thought of that too much before but it would makes sence. I may be writing about Feng Shui symboles that are found around the ship now. I'd think Jon would put up the water ones for money and Tess putting the ones for for luck.

I'll see what I can get written tonight.

Passengers

The body guard is male, the princess is female (natch) and the wedding planner is female.

Easier..............

Well knowing the planner is female then Jon would figure t0 bunk her and the "Pricess" together so they can keep planning. Putting the three guys together.

As for Catie's room I'd have figured that room 8 is the only real open room. Tess wanted a room for the veggies and that would have been the smaller room #10 after Angela took the storage room. So let's just work around that idea and Catie can still use her Fung Shui to validate it as an Auspious room for her.

So to figure the Kua Number use the following as a guide:
Kua number calculations for a female born in 1998:

Add the last two digits of the year of birth: 9 + 8 = 17.
Bring it to a single digit number: 1 + 7 = 8.
Add number 5 to the single digit number: 5 + 8 = 13.
Bring it to a single digit: 1 + 3 = 4.

A female born in 1998 has the Kua number 4.

Kua number calculations for a male born in 1965:

Add the last two digits of the year of birth: 6 + 5 = 11.
Bring it to a single digit number: 1 + 1 = 2.
Deduct your single digit number from number 10 => 10 - 2 = 8.

A male born in 1965 has the Kua number 8.

ADDITIONAL FENG SHUI INFO:

In classical feng shui, you are either a East or a West group person. Once you know your Kua number, you can easily find out your feng shui group, here it is:

EAST Group: Kua Number 1, Kua Number 3, Kua Number 4, Kua Number 9

WEST Group: Kua Number 2, Kua Number 5, Kua Number 6, Kua Number 7, Kua Number 8.

Now you can find your lucky directions and use this info to improve the feng shui of your home or office. You can position your bed so that it faces one of your best directions, re-arrange your office so that your desk is facing a lucky direction, and, if you are looking to buy a new house, see if the direction of the front door is good for you!

Now go Google the rest, .

Yes, I do have several books on Fung Shui and I will look up more for any of you if you'd like me to do it.

Logically

While you are fenging your shui ...

Logically, it would make sense to put Catie in 8, the brothers in 10, the planner in one guest room and the bodyguard and princess in another with the duct tape curtain as I mentioned before. That way the brothers can be watched by the crew, the passenger are in the guest area and can not access the ship easily and the body guard is guarding his charge.

Of course, logic and reality don't often co-habituate.

I'm good with it

I figured that the garden bunk never did fully recover from Grace's overhaul; plus moving Angela into the storage room means that it would have been wiped out anyway. Tess wouldn't haven't insisted it go into a crew room. If anything, she might be collaborating with Grace on setting up a little hold in one of the cargo bays, but I doubt we would have gotten there yet.

So I'm good with Al's plan.

Also: Did I miss something somewhere? Feung shui? When did that come into play?

Galley

You also have a very large galley so the garden bunk could be there.

Ody!

I totally left you a place to put in Jon's parting comments!
“You boys have fun,” Tess said. She felt her stomach turn over as she looked at Rick’s easy smile.

((Assume the deal handshake from Jon here))

That was it! Tess would have waited for Jon to make the deal shake before prompting us to get out of there!

If you would like, I will just wait next time to post, rather than doing the ((assuming)) bit.

Glup...............

Why do I get the feeling this falls into the catigory:
"Trust Me, I'm the DM!"

"Ok, I'm game," said the turkey.

So rooms are now arranged.

As for the Fung Shui I just guessed that was the direction Reralae was implying when was talking about the room.

No

No. I was only offering an opinion. No trust me moment.

I will hopefully post this weekend.
