Yanamari, if you need anything from me regarding the Thorson medical situation, don't hesitate to reach out. I'd like to get a bow on that subplot so that we can get the timeline for the new Chief Engineer worked out, and then, we get this tub away from the starbase!

It's sad to see Astrid go but yes lets get the old show on the road. I haven't found back posting to difficult to follow though I have to admit I've been struggling with other fluff to write.

If anyone wants to give me a hand walking the ambassadors to their quarters I would appreciate the help, I don't feel like I'm at a point where I can nail the "voice" of the ambassadors without them sounding incongruous compared to other people writing them.

You can assume that, for now, the ambassadors will follow along with no issues.

D'lar (Kuldar) is a bit gruff. I mentally picture a somewhat more civilized Mongol raider when I think of D'lar.

Threel (Rytain) is more sophisticated, more eloquent, likes to fancy himself as more of a thinker and philosopher.

...I just sent you a PM in regards to some thoughts I'd shared with Olan, earlier, about the ambassadors' escort. Should provide you with some "fodder" so to speak.

...and is just a wee bit skeptical as to the timing of his arrival (naturally). As of the end of that last post, Tochi's plans are to escort Haemis to meet the Captain, etc, and perhaps inquire a bit more as to the circumstances of the engineer's sudden, unexpected transfer, en route.

Haemis - if you'd like to work that bit out in a collab, feel free to PM me. If not, we can work it all out in post.

Olan and Amara - Tochi's first act, once McTavish has accompanied him out into the corridor, will be to contact Drake (and likely, Lasad, as well) over comms, advising of (and perhaps inquiring about) the new arrival... Something along the lines of "Zai to Capt Drake and Lt Lasad. We are currently in the company of a Lt McTavish who has, apparently, been assigned to our Engineering department..." Feel free to fill in, embellish, use at your discretion.
