psh
Oh, sure. Adventurers throwing weapons around all willy-nilly, sticking them in trees and so forth, but **I** am the bad guy.
Yeah, okay.

I didn't say you were the bad guy... I just said you were evil... It's just one of your many endearing qualities!

It's like Wreck it Ralph.
I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. Tthere's no one I'd rather be than me.

"Thanks for the shortbow reminder, I had forgotten"
Lol, I thought that you might have forgotten about my bow. I ain't no cheater! Though I *do* remember Ch'dau learning Meteor, so I think we should all honor that.

Sweet. I'll make sure that Kith's death is quick and painless.

Scratch that. Queuing up one abomination baby to claw its way out of her womb now, to feed on her guts while she begs for a death that will not come...

Would Kith have been cognizant of everything going on around her in her paralyzed state or is her brain mush until she's defrosted?

She'd have been aware. Took this from the post where she got giggled:
"All sensation is fully intact; Kith can hear the giggling, can see the creatures and the forest floor, can feel the pain of her wounds and the racing of her heart, the drawing of her breath. She can feel her impending doom through the weight of the creature upon her back.
And then, the horror truly sets in as she feels the cold tongue slither across the back of her neck, feels her trousers being yanked down, hears the giggles change in pitch, in meaning. Suddenly, an honorable death in battle is hardly the worst fate she could have met. The abject terror she feels from the press of the cold flesh is indescribable, threatens to drive her sanity away."

yep
Eol is 100% correct. Ghoul paralysis prevents any movement, but it does not impact consciousness or the senses. She is fully aware of her surroundings, can feel, see, hear, smell, etc. This is why death by ghoul is quite horrible; you cannot move to escape, but you can feel every bite, every tear as they eat your guts. They seem to favor ripping out entrails while you are still alive and in unthinkable agnony.

Like they say at Chick-fil-A...
... my pleasure!
Got a couple of posts I need to work on, myself. Work didn't allow for creativity today.

Oofta
I'm right there with you! A busy week and prepping to run an IRL 5E game this weekend has really drained my creative well. Kith beginning to dethaw though has been a little encouraging ^__^

I do some actual work for a few hours and, BOOM! I've got three pages of Q&A to catch up on!
Looking at the wounds that we've already suffered I'm not sure we can take the beating from a full-on retreat. But we are also facing off against a horde that will likely beat us down in combat as well, especially without Ch'Dau's involvement. So, this is what I think would be a grand idea:
- Ch'dau hucks Kith as far up into a tree as possible like a purse in a ghetto fight.
- Ch'dau joins us in the fight and Cedric and Midge falls back out of melee range. Cedric to use that Turn Undead act that he has pulled before and potentially Heal any who look too beat up and Midge to STAY ALIVE! Midge could maybe even join Kith in the tree and use his magic to pummel the undead.
- The rest of us keep doing damage and make an offering of Doritos, Funions, and Mt. Dew to the GM for some divine intervention.
Or...
- Do we still have the Light from the prayer Cedric cast leaving the camp? If so, the make sure Cedric is in the middle of the group and we all hotfoot it outta Compton. Straight Outta... Taking whatever beating we receive in the process. Maybe screaming in terror might be appropriate as we Scooby and Shaggy.
- If someone falls due to the free round of sucker-punching our unprotected kidneys... Well, Gib's learned his lesson. No more going after fallen allies!
