Jessica shook the feather of her head. "I'll go tell the princess there someones here." she said forgetting about the other vampire. She held the feather in her fingers. It was soft. She tucked it behind her ear. She turned back into her panther form. She nodded to the newcomer then raced away.

Miv had awoke not long after Erina had left. She was sitting there, curled up, when the panther raced up. Miv looked up.

"What is it Jessica?" She asked, jumping up.

Something told her Jessica wasn't just returning. Miv walked to the panther and kneeled in front of it.

When the panther had arrived, D'Artigo had jumped out from the shadows, eyes no longer the pale blue, but a blood red color, showing up perfectly against the white mask which he wore. Dashing out he stopped just before the panther as Miv spoke to the panther. "You know this one then? This... lycan? And her name is Jessica eh? Hmm... this job keeps getting better and better."

He takes a few steps back, retreating to Miv's side, his eyes turning pale blue again. "Pale Rose. Good to see you have awaken. Do you feel better?"

Jessica raced back to the room. Miv asked what was wrong. Jessica now remembered that that Lycan-biting vampire was here. She didn't want to show what she look like. Jessica bowed as best as she could in panther form. then gentle grabbed Miv's sleave in her mouth. She pulled on it gentle to say "Follow me" She wanted to get out of this room Before The vampire decide to bite her.

D'Artigo laughs underneath his mask. "So, you have an obsession with being secretive do you? Jessica? It's okay. So do I." Another laugh follows this.

"I shant attack you unless the Pale Rose orders it. Or her life is in danger by your hand. You've nothing to fear."

Miv nods to Jessica. "I shant let him touch you." She promised.

Miv followed Jessica and froze. Erina sat by another girl. She had black eyes but thta was all that Miv saw.

Angel. Her mind screamed the word over and over and Miv took a few steps back, away from the holy creature.

Jessica felt Miv frezse.She knew what was wrong. She brushed her head on Miv's finger tips then sat down beside her. It was to reasure the princess. Jessica hope Lycan biter behind them wouldn't laugh.

Miv was still frozen, staring at the Angel.

Suddenly, she backed up even more and hit D'Artigo.

Miv stopped and clutched his shoulders. "Angel!" She hissed, narrowing her eyes and baring her fangs.

The two of them, Angel and Fallen, stood silently in the darkness, alone in their thoughts. each assessing the other. Lamiel expected the other to be wary at the least, probably hostile. If history was an indicator, the two of them would come to cross purposes rather swiftly, and the resulting confrontation was unlikely to end well. Still, there was nothing else to do but to stick to the plan.

When the Lycan returned, she was leading a young-looking vampire. Age among them was always difficult to guage,though, as many of them retained youthful appearance throughout their lives, and few appered to be beyond middle age. The newcomer stood frozen, eyes wide in either shock or fear.

Lamiel turned to address the vampire, her voice pitched low, but carrying easily in the cool night air. "We must leave this place. It is not safe here, and time is not our friend."

"Why should I trust you? Angels aren't Vampires best friend last time I checked."

Miv released D'Artigo and turned to face them. Erina was still on the ground and Miv wondered briefly why she hadn't already attacked the angel

Erina just watched the group. She wanted to tear into the Angel but didn't.

Her very presence mad Miv so uneasy. Erina smiled alittle at them.

"I think we should trust it." She said calmly.

Jessica nodded in agrement. She walk closer to Miv. Jessica satyed away from Lycan- biter. As best as best as she could she signaled "The angel won't hurt you." She didn't want to turn into her human form in front of The other vampire.

In a voice so quiet that only Miv could here him, D'Artigo chuckles. "I knew you'd come to me some time. Soon enough everyone does. You'll learn to appreciate me later though. Be calm though Pale Rose. You are safe." He let's her leave his grasp as she moves to, though not without a slight squeeze while she is still in his grasp.

Calling out in a fair voice, he said "Angel! Not the pretty lass which I know. What business have you with our Angel there?"

"Listen to your friends." The angel replied, "Think about it. How long do you think they will leave you here? How long before they come back to this place to claim the spoils of war, or to desecrate the fallen in their hate?" The angel took a slow step towards her, "you have no need to trust me. I'm telling you nothing you don't already know if you took the time to consider it..."

Turning, she drew her hood over her head once more, "Not too much time. If they come in numbers, you are in no condition to fight them now."

"Aye, you may be right Angel... I'm sorry, I missed your name?... But what's to say you're giving us the best way out? You're an Angel... in two ways. But still... not the best choice for a creature like I." D'Artigo's head tilts sideways. This would be interesting.
