He looks up from his book once again (he must have pulled it back out when everyone was talking), gazes for a moment at the Mivara and Seloust then writes a few more lines in his book. After a few moments his gaze settles on Mivara.
After a few more moments he turns away and begins walking slowly around the campsite, examining everything nearby with great interest.

What?
Mivara places a reassuring hand on Seloust as she walks over to Jason. She listens to Jason's answer to her question and she is a bit confused at first, but when he reveals the sword it all starts to make sense to her. She looks at the runes on the sword and then looks back to Jason.. “Where did you get that sword? It looks much like her own, just a couple feet shorter. The runes on the sword almost match that of her own. “Can I see that sword please?” She reaches forward to take it from him...
((assuming he lets her see the sword...If not I will edit my post))
She places the sword on the ground in front of her, then slowly produces a small leather bound book from her robes and opens it. She studies the runes on the sword, she then takes her large sword from her back and places next to the other sword on the ground. While the symbols are not identical they are very close to the same. She runs her fingers slowly over the runes and they slowly begin to admit a blue light. She does the same to hers. Mistake? Perhaps? As they lay side by side and she makes the last rune on her sword glow a wind rushes quickly around them. The swords both go flying in opposite directions. Hers flies deeper into the forest, while the other flies out into the clearing.. “Can you get that Jason?” She then stands and walks deeper into the woods looking for her sword....

A New Day Hath Begun
After a few hours of ceaseless chanting, Guillotine appoached the painting of the little girl. Although he had successfully helped a few souls to their final resting places, this one intriged him. She wasn't a lost soul, but an abandoned memory of a child who suffered great pains of the heart. Her heart unable, or unwilling, to face the pain that happened to her here had cast out the memory that had taken place inside these walls. This made him wonder what had happened here to cause her unbearable pains. He still remembered the events of his own childhood.
The day the slavers came and slaughtered his village was forever burned into his memory. As too, where the memories of years of beatings and lashes he received simply because he had not learned their language yet. The years of being chained to the ships oars were all the reasons that he followed the path he had been given the chance to follow. He had prayed to ever god he ever heard of for help, but it had been Falloes who answered his prayers that fateful day and sent him his savior from slavery.
As the morning sun chased away the darkness of night, the cleric of Falloes to emerged from the basement to began a new day. The sounds of the forest had returned in the absence of the dragon. Where it had gone, he did not know, nor at this time did he care. It wasn't here anymore. His yellow and white robes seemed to shine this morning accenting the golden outstretched hand upon his chest. In the main room, he prepared to meet the day straightening his robes and gear. He uttered his daily morning prayer, " My Lord Falloes, give me your guidance to know where I am needed and the wisdom to see what it is that needs to be done by your divine grace, I pray to thee."
He dunked through the entrance to the inn once again and started walking in the direction he felt he needed to go this morning. He after a short distance, he stopped at an old apple tree burdened under its yield of fruit. He offered a blessing over the tree and poured a ring of water around its trunk as an exchange to the fruit he gathered from it. Seeing the abundance of fruit, he gathered a little more than he normally would have in hopes of getting a chance to sundry what was not eaten for later use.

the hunters return...
Kel emerged from the woods looking quite refreshed, despite dragging a large load on what seemd to be a makeshift litter. He looks up at the sky noticing the sun beginning it's afternoon descent. thank the gods there are no dragons Scanning the campsite he noticed Jason sleeping, Mivara is just returning from the woods with her sword in hand, the Watcher is crouched at the edge of the clearing examining something and jotting in his book. The elf is nowhere to be found. He drags his load over to the camp fire and lays it down. After a quick stretch of his muscles, he makes an announcement.
"Well everyone lunch has arrived. I tell ya she put up a hell of a fight and went down hard. In the end though, her heart just wasn't in it."
He reached down and started undoing the wrapping on the load. "I hope everyone is in the mood for some rhino steaks. Rethia and I seasoned them before we wrapped them. She should be along shortly, she had to see to her companion." With that he made a smaller campfire and laid some large stones in the center. Keeping the flames low and heating the stones he used them to cook the steaks.
After he had cooked the steaks, he ate his share and then found a spot to settle in to rest. He looked at Mivara. "So, what happened to the elf? I was hoping to learn his name when I returned. Seems the only one he introduced himself to was you."

Something stirrs in the forrest (check the q/a ploz)
Jason Ukiah starts to stir in his sleep as though having a weird dream He starts to shake and roll as if the dream was causing him great pain....
Suddenly Jason wakes covered in sweat panting. He reaches to check that the sword still lies by his side. It feels as cold as the night before and upon touching it Jason feels a cool breeze.
He Sniffs the air and smells the cooking of meat He walks over to Kel and asks “May I ... I have something to eat?” for some reason he paused half way into the sentence as though something distracted him briefly.
He stares off into the distance as if his eyes were penetrating the forest seeing something move... Someone or Something was watching them. Jason could see its eyes they gave off a dark purple glow and they seemed to be of unnatural origin.
Jason’s hand now slowly reaches towards his swords hilt and he grips tightly not for one moment did his eyes stop starring into the forest.

battle aftermath
Rethia tried to steady her breathing as it hurt to breath due to her broken ribs and the wound on her chest that was caused by the fight with the rhino. The rhino had plowed it’s head right into Rethia’s chest as she fought it. Kel came over and tended to her wounds which had stopped the bleeding but there was nothing she could do to heal the ribs beside move them back into place. She looked at Verlin who was cruelled up in a ball and looked like he was in worse shape then she was.
“Return to your home my friend.” Rethia said
The tiger gave a low growl.
“I’ll be okay we’ve been though a lot worse but I really need you to rest there might be a fight that I can’t handle on my own.”
The tiger gave Rethia a loving nudge with it’s head then turned into mist and disappeared.
Rethia then turned back to the camp in which she saw that everyone was enjoying the fresh meat. Mivara came up to her with a questioning look in her eyes as if asking if she was alright and where the tiger was.
“ I’ll be fine it’ll take a few days to heal up and Verlin is fine I’ll summon him again tomorrow.” Rethia answers her unasked question.
Rethia then eats some of the meat and turns for first watch.

The Watcher
The Watcher glances up as the hunters return. In an instant his book is in his hands and notes are being recorded. He calmly walks over to the hunters and looks them over with an analytical eye, his hand never ceasing in its ongoing scratching in his book.
As he closes the book, and it disappears once again, he looks to Kel and shakes his head disapprovingly. Then turns and takes a seat by the still burning fire, gazing at its hypnotically dancing flames.

don't worry....trust me
Kel glares at the Watcher as the man walks back toward the fire.
Turning back toward Rethia he reaches in the pockets of his cloak and pulls out a few herbs, a greenish looking paste, and a small bowl. "You know you fought well out there. I was glad to have you by my side. I am sorry you got hurt."
He proceeds to pinch off some of the herbs and put them in the bowl. He uses the butt of a dagger to grind them into a powder, to which he adds the greenish paste and a splash of water and begins mixing it together. "You don't have to stand watch you know. The Watcher doesn't sleep. Another strange custom of theirs. His senses are pretty well attuned too. He will let me know if there is any danger." After the concotion is mixed he offers the small bowl to Rethia. "This will take away some of your pain and help you to sleep for a few hours. It is the best I can do."
Before she can protest he says one last thing to her. "Sometimes a measure of trust must be shown to those we shall call our companions. Sleep well Huntress."
With that he makes an area to sleep a few feet away from her and lies down.

Trust
Rethia just smiles at Kel takes the potion that he made and drinks it. It made the pain a little more bareable. She could sense that there was something out there but she couldn't tell what and that made her uneasy. She walked over to Mivara
"Do you sense that presance or am I the only one on nerves tonight?"
