...I can already see that hunger is going to be one of Asher's motivating forces
The plan sounds good to me Brom so long as I ain't the one hanging out the back throwing 'em

I posted. Was I supposed to wait? If so, I can delete it and put it in when it's my turn.

Lovely
No waiting. You may post if you want. I really enjoyed your opening post actually. Gave me a feel for the character almost immediately.
The details on the ship are still coming but we can move forward without them. I re-read the rules over the holidays and realized I made a couple of small mistakes on my first post, but nothing that can't be fixed (the money you were paid/going to be paid was completely off - it is fixed now).

Post!?
We can post now!?
Aight, so the ship's been updated an' the wave sent t' ya, boss.
I believe (an' correct me if'n I'm wrong, boss) that we'll start with 1,000c to pay fer dockin', fuel, refittin', etc. The creds that y'all contributed were fer outfitting Rocinante.
I too have posted (couldn't refrain despite not havin' the 'how we mets' figured entirely).

miscalculated
I put down the wrong amount on my opening post. You are starting with 500 credits , plus the 250 you have in "petty cash"
Will be busy for next two days, then going away again for the weekend. Post if you wish and I will be ready to move in the new year.

That's my wife you are oogling! :)
Yes, Vanadia does like to get into her roles, which is why she is such a good gamer. I am sure a lot of us will be in our bunks after her narratives about her companion/doctor.
Excellent intros all around. Blamm, if you want to put Trish in your openng post, handing you a length grocery shopping list, feel free. Otherwise I will post for the NPC after New Years.
On that note, have a safe and wonderful New Year's Eve to all of you.

But it's just a pretend oogle! ;)
An' Sam did it... not me...
hehehe... I kinda figure ol' Dash lives by the motto "Ya don't mi tian gohn where ya eat an' ya don't grapple where ya work" anyhow...

*pushes over-protective hubby aside*
Vanadia the wife is not nearly as pretty as Willow the character, but Alacrity is a sweet hubby for alluding to otherwise. However, both Vanadia and Willow can handle the heat in the kitchen, thank you
Ogle away, m'dear...Willow dresses for attention after early failed attempts to go unnoticed. Just don't bother bringing her along on covert ops; swans tend to stand out, then, too!
And as for what happens on ship...even former companions pick their clients, not the other way around Both doctors and companions sense what their patients need and provide the appropriate care...but it's what they need, not what they may want (ooo! that's kinda good...I'll have to work that into a fututre post).
It's not love that keeps a ship in the air, it's sexual tension
Seriously, I am loving the characters, and that will drive my enjoyment of the game as much as the plot! Great posts, all!

need to add a adult rating
Yes, I am sure that if the series had lasted more than one season, we would have seen Jayne and River developing a relationship and Simon having a great deal of problems over it. Tensions galore.
