pokemon
Well f course its going to be different than the show. It is easy to develop a story line with a TV show but in text it takes a little more give it to the next town and i SHOULD have it feeling more like pokemon.
oh and THANK YOU FOR THE POST!

I'm holding everybody back
You see I'm not a good oster, and as Tiamat had told me, "I need to type as if writing a story.", I'm not good at and if your gonna take me out my first game then that'll be a mean thing that would teach me a lesson to post better, but please don't kick me off! I let you in my game, and I try my best to make good post! PLEASE DON'T KICK ME OFF!

Just a tip
"She looked at him then looked back"
This is an example of powerplaying- writing actions for characters that aren't your own. Common mistake, but thought you should know. =3

Maybe I'm just strict
Well, maybe I'm just used to being strict. Sorry- I was an admin on the Starwars Universe RP boards and we were very strict about free form RP rules... lol

scenario
In some scenarios this is actually ok. Like in my zombies game I have developed my relationship with the other characters and have known them long enough that if i say certain things i will know a small reaction to it so i can put small things down. in a later post they can revise what they said though and add more if they want to. But even if i know there is a romantic infatuation between another character and mine i never insinuate their movements. you never know when it comes to love they could be shy about it or they could come up and just kiss you. Dont develop or insinuate things to early. Dont worry I am not going to kick you I haven't GMd for long so I havent developed an evil sadistic "Do as I say" attitude... Now i am still quite sadistic though...

pokeballs anyone?
I am wondering, did Iris gain 'all' those pokeballs in the lab, or did we split them amoung our group evenly? no one really said anything, and as it appears Iris is our unofficially elected (oxymoron) leader, that she would have decided who gets what.
Also, the term "blacking out" was originally used in red/blue; however, in recent games it has been verified (as I presumed when I was younger) that it means a trainer simply scurries off to the nearest Pokemon center. one does not simply teleport via abra-like ability to a center to revive his/her pokemon. That is, unless our faithful GM decides that in his... or her world it does work that way
Sorry Malek04 I do not know thine sex xD

sorry, are we on the tree tops or not? I am confused >.< Is it really necessary for us to say "We are going?" I mean, our posts have pretty much detailed that already... I am just don't really know what the expectations are for this adventure.

posting
You dont actually have to say that but at the time i was reading through and no one had stated anything about being ready to leave the lab or even talking about leaving the lab so i thought you werent at the trees yet.
Pyroboom. You are not allowed to make informed decisions about whether there is a trainer or not in your midst or if there is a pokemone anywhere near you or even if you have reached the tree top village. I am editing out that post due to the fact that I had TWO encounters set up along the way and your post completely disregards that. If this happens again or you post anything about an out come to an event. Or decide you do everything I will make sure I find a good way to send your character along his way falling off the trees as you have more problems staying on them then the Narcoleptic or the man with the fear of heights. I dont mean to be a huge a** or anything but seriously none of your posts follow the plot line and all have had an essence of something that i had never put in the lab or the trees.

WHile the adventurers started along their merry way in the town of Tree top the bustling sky city other happenings were well... happening. " -a post by Malek04

Clarity
Ok- here is teh current situation for those confused:
All of the players save for one are climbing up the branches, making their way towards to village. The other player is already in the village and was just caught trying to steal from a pokemart. Neither side has had contact with each other yet.
Hope that clears things up.
And as for the GM- I think everyone including myself is confused as to the roll you wish to take. You are saying that your waiting for people to make their moves, but at the same time that you want to narrate events. As such, players are unsure if/when they should post and how much they need to say.
Hope I didn't come off to harsh! XD
