Plugging Away

I have added Deity info for several characters, but for Tuned_Out the selection was as close as I could get to what he had sent to me!

Will wait to see if he just wants to change the name to the one he sent me, or if he wants to use the name that is listed on his Character Sheet info ???

I still have plenty to get added to Character Sheets as none of them are quite Final, but as soon as I get the info included to my satisfaction, then I will add the corresponding Player Name to the Game Thread and allow for Character Story Posting before we get the game underway!

My Suggestion is that Players take a look at the Character Sheets and see if anyone may be agreeable to knowing your Character prior to the Opening Post of This Adventure ???

Some have already stated that their Character will be unknown to other characters, until they all meet at the Toothless Dragon Tavern!

Hoping to Get Things Moving in a Few Days!

Enjoy!

Hey Gang............

I think it is usually wise to take the DM's advice about things being too dangerous for the party, especially a bunch of LEVEL ONE nuckleheads. We are sooooooooo weak a strong breeze could cause us trouble.

So let's just keep it simple and head to Tagea. There are two towns that might provide food and safety to a bunch newbe adventures. Remember we are only level one and doubt many of you have played from level one in a long time. Almost EVERYTHING is stronger than a level one. We could run into robbers and THEY are stronger than we are . Only our number of ten members helps by reducing the odds against each of us. We need to gain some XP so we can level to 3 or 4 to take on some real badies. So let's go camping on Tagea, visit the two towns, find out if there are any interesting "Old" spots where Pirates or such may stashed loot from raiding ships leaving or entering the Innes River. Returning some of that kind of loot would get us XP and maybe some minor fame in character.

Sounds good!

Tagea is the shortest trip and there are two places there to explore. Anyplace that isnt above our level would be good. I guess we can vote on places, such as Tagea, and let the Castle Keeper let us know if the places we suggest would be above our experience. Wouldnt do to die too quickly.

So I also will vote for Tagea as it is a good suggestion. Any others?

I agree

Tagea would seem to make the most sense. It is the closest, though it is important to point out it is also a nation in itself (via the map), which may not appreciate treasure hunters from Aachen taking its hidden wealth away.

There are several other nearby islands, but I don't think we want to get caught up going too far south, considering how far north the Broken Fingers are.

It also seems we have the ruins of an ancient bridge to navigate before we get there, which could house both hidden treasure and danger in its shadow.

I'm happy to sail wherever, so lets get some more input

Boarder Lands.......

How do we gain the information on the successful and failed explorations. You said the boarder lands would be the most likely to have major treasure, so what is considered boarder lands.

This is so we can start to figure what direction to go next.

Let luck decide

Toft works in many ways, through many people. And as a servant of chance, Bartimeus is down to go wherever is decided, and will meet whatever fate it presents.

As for other nations not wanting us taking their hidden loot, it would be easy enough to pose as mercenaries. Generally accepted to an extent in any nation. Not like we have to be honest as to why we are there, so long as we arent putting anyone else in danger.

More reasonable

I'll agree, Tagea sounds a lot more safe than going all the way out to Broken Fingers. I say we definitely go there at a later date though.

My two cents. Yeah I'm cheap

As the sole Ranger of the party I don't care where we go cause no matter where it is, I have to get us there as safe as I can. So pick a direction and I'll lead ya there

See told ya I was cheap

Tagea

Tagea works just as good as Ioni. Sounds like a boat trip is in order.

Ioni..........

We might be able to swing over to Inoi as a round trip.

Now how are we going to be picked up? How will the Capt'n know we are ready to head back? Is it just like a two week stint and then make for the shore so we get picked up?

Where to go

Hello to all. To the question where to go, as for me I do not care as long as I survive.

Well Gang

The Party of 10 has 2 Bards and an Illusionist in the mix!

Raven has a standing invitation to join in when he is free (Standard Invite to my 3 LC Avengers Players: Raven, Ziklag and Tuned_Out) and I sent him a PM asking if he would like to play a Wizard for this adventure when he is free later!

Brundel dusted off an interesting Bard (Gnome) and the Party of this size will Probably Need 2 Bards!

The characters of Angelic and Brundel are so diverse, it will add to the flavor of the game!

Suggestion: When the Party survives the trip to Tagea it would do well to return to the Toothless Dragon Tavern where your characters are rewarded with 2nd Level and Treasure Share!

Then you can go to another island or wherever close by you want to explore to gain your 3rd Level Promotion!
