Cor is a rather unique character. In fact he is the sole example of his class in all of Trilogy , a Knight-cleric of Odin. Part war cleric, part paladin his purpose is to evaluate paladins that follow Odin. Without his consent one cannot become a paladin of Odin nor advance in rank. He can be a good matured dwarf find of his ale but is deadly serious about his devotion to Odin. Quick witted and a bit sarcastic he is fond of banter during battle.

Me too.....
I'd we all had issues for a while. Robo attackes overwhelm the site and shut it down. Not anthing we Innmates can do to help.
We just have to wait for the mess to be cleaned up.

Yo. Ody sent me the materials (thanks again for that, by the way). I'm sorting through 5k or so pages.
Ninja's look cool. Would you permit a ninja? If not, any other class restrictions, other than by alignment?

The night air crept slowly into the tower bringing with it a coldness that sought purchase in a person's bones. In a chamber near the top of the tower a lone dwarf sat in silent study of lists. Long lists of names of those petitioning for advancement as a servant of Odin and of those who sought to be initiates in his service. "Tis cold enough ta chase a frost giant into his cave." he muttered to himself as he raose to add another log to the fire burning valiently in the hearth. For the moment it was losing its battle with the cold but a fresh supply of fuel would see it vanquish its nemesis in short time. Cor watched the flames dance as he warmed his hands. On most nights the flames were just falmes but on certain nights, like this night, they were more. Figures appeared. Faces of old friends who fell in battle mixed with those of enemies he killed. It brought saddness and a profound sense of loss to the elder dwarf. Slowly the flames changed and he beheld the face of Odin. "All father, what brings you here?" the dwarf asked as he took a knee. "Arise Cor, my faithful servant. I come bringing news and call on you once more. Trilogy once more falls under the influence of evil and people have turned from the ways of the old gods. I come to charge you with once more leaving this place and traveling far and wide to root out the source of this evil and restore the faith that has been lost." In moments the flames mixed an became noting more than a normal fire. Cor rose and walked to his chests and trunks. Slowly, reverantly he unpacked his armor and axe. The Knight-Cleric of Odin would once more walk the realm.

Huh? We're starting?
Are we starting the roleplay, Keeper of Dragons? Is that your first post? I thought Tann said it wasn't until January the game would begin.

A Little Background on Ulthok.....but not all of it.....
Ulthok stands at 3ft. 4in and weighs in at 38lbs.His face is little more oval then round and although somewhat rugged looking he projects an air of innocence. His hair is jet black and quite long and he keeps it back in a pony tail he has thick long sideburns on each cheek. His skin is deeply bronzed from the elements and this sets off his deep hazel eyes. He is good at making people see him the way he wants them to. He uses his eyes to appear innocent and harmless or to give you a dark piercing stare that makes you feel like his is looking into your soul. He appears never to wear armor only a skin tight body suit with normal clothing over it.
Ulthok does not remember his parents or where he born. For as long he could recall he was raised in the capital city of Cormilin by a rogue Halfling known as Trapspringer. Ulthok just referred to him as Uncle. So his early schooling was most in the thieves’ guild where he showed great ability, which some thought mystic. Ulthok achieved the status of “Master Thief” before he reached his age of maturity. Shortly after Ulthok found himself placed in the servitude of a local Wizard when he had been caught picking his pocket. That servitude turned to an apprenticeship and Ulthok learned to wield magic as no Halfling had been able to do before him.
This unique combination of skills was quickly recognized by the local court and Ulthok was recruited “Special” missions. But what he had learned to love were the random adventures he picked up at the local Inns . It was in one of the Inns he heard that the King of Shanntara was looking for adventures to serve as a reaction force for the King and his allies. Little did Ulthok know what adventures awaited?

Not a true start to the game. Just some background posting to get into the spirit of the game and give new folks a taste of what is to come. All real posts are in the game thread.

Cor placed his armor on the dressing rack and his axe on the altar of Odin that occupied a central place along the back wall of Cor’s study. As he turned, he caught sight of himself in the mirror and paused. His waist was just a bit fuller than it had been in years past. Corded muscled still rippled as he moved. Scars too numerous to count crossed his body like a map of some ancient civilization. He rubbed his shoulder and remembered the arthritis resulting from the mace that tore his arm from the socket during the battle of Kravern Peak. The deep scar across his back was a reminder of his encounter with a black dragon. He could not count the wounds sustained in battle but many of them served as reminders of both victory and defeat. At least he was still able to take stock of his scars, too many of his fellow dwarves had fallen over the decades. Cor shook his head to clear it of such thoughts. Odin was not yet finished with him and so he still drew breath. A knock on the door caused him to turn. “Do you require assistance Master Cor?” came the voice of Eldrick, one of the new initiate clerics. “Nay lad, I dinna need help just yet. I wouldna refuse a plate of food if it is not too much trouble, I seem to have lost track of time and missed dinner again.” In answer he heard “Of course not Master Cor, I will return shortly”. A trip to the kitchen and back would take the lad nearly 30 minutes since he would have to argue with the cook as dinner hours were well past. Cor moved to the fire and retrieved the pitcher of boiling water and added it to the water already in the bath. Slowly he lowered himself into the warm water, closed his eyes and sent a silent prayer to Odin.

Keeper of Dragons
I enjoyed reading your roleplay posts. You're good and I'm looking forward to roleplaying with you in the future!
Is Cor your actual character for Trilogy that you'll be using in the real game once it starts?
Oh, is there a map of Trilogy anywhere? I'd like to get the lay of the land. It is a Pathfinder's job, after all! XD
