Well...

Hopefully Amber doesn't kill him.

And yeah... umm... neither free masons nor knights of columbus wear full armor. They carry swords (usually rapiers) but not full chain mail and plate. SCA members, however would... and you know maybe he works for Medieval Times or broke into the Field Museum and nabbed one of the displays. Could be a myriad of reasons why he's dressed like that.

So hopefully again Amber won't kill him or scare him off and we'll get to find out.

M.

AAAAWWWW MAN!

I wish you lived closer, Malek04. I'd love to duel you. With light sabers of course. I'm quite the Jedi/sith wannabe.

My Star wars character is Darth Ravenous.

Ok so I lied about it being tomorrow. After seeing the post from Amber and Mr. shiny over there I decided to change my big fluff scene to something with a little umf... Nothing personal shiny man but Al only saw blood and a girl swinging an axe at a guy in full armor so what was he to think.

Also I forgot about Macs unconscious body on the floor over there so if someone wouldn't mind picking him up for me I would realllllly appreciate it.

hello

Yes I have joined this game with a SCA nut who happened to be caught in the zombie hell after attending a Seige Re-enactment. He received a head injury and was trapped in the hospital for a number of days while the zombies ran rampant.

For the record I haven't hurt anyone except killed a zombie. Brian is wearing chain mail, a spainish style helm, motorcycle boots he reinforced with metal greaves himself and carries a large kite shield and a arming sword. Yes, he is not very tall. Picture Paul Giamatti in chain mail.

Background: Dr. Brian Bollard (Doctorate in both Medieval Literature and Medieval Studies) is SCA’s (Society of Creative Anachronism) Principle Instructor/Curriculum Developer and has been teaching sword and shield based martial arts semi-professionally for 10 years and has been involved in the study and practice of Medieval martial arts for 20 years. He has traveled both within Canada, the United States and in Europe providing instruction in armizare according to his interpretation of Fiore dei Liberi's "Flos Duellatorum" and "Fior di Bataglia". He also researched and studied the sword & buckler plays as depicted in his published works and introduced this fighting style as part of the SCA curriculum in 2000.

I know you haven't hurt her but what was Alaster supposed to think lots o her blood and a man in armor... he put 2 and 2 together to make five somehow which was deffinatly the wrong answer.

sigh

Duly noted, malek, but if this devolves into another surreal scene like the "dude, where's my lighter?" interlude in the basement, I'm having you summarily munched by the zombies.

You have been warned.

Well...

...okay. But Murph's already more than just a little aggravated... don't be surprised at what comes of this.

Post soon...

And there ya have it...

...Murph's reached his breaking point.

So... there's Mac back in the wheelbarrow (hopefully being wheeled the rest of the way up the street by Ted or Emily), Alaster given what's been coming since before they left the basement, and, if Murph doesn't get hacked to ribbons for trying, at least the beginnings of Murph trying to bring her back around for whatever good it'll do...

Oh... before it becomes an issue... I checked with the GM on Murph punching Alaster and made sure the rolls were all on the up-and-up before I wrote it in. Feel free to run with it as you see fit, of course, Malek... Just keep in mind that we've got a stockroom full of zombies about to break loose behind us and sidestreets full of who-knows-how-many others likely closing in... vengeance might be best saved for later.

nope

Just a hit, no KO. Nonlethal damage to your pride, more than anything else.
