Boink!
Part 2 is away.
Could have assumed many things and proceeded but figured it best to stop there and let the rest of you post.
Let me know if you want/need any edits, etc... Always happy to comply, especially when I've already assumed so much.

Stay frosty!
Team MACK attack, away!
I was initially planning on posting tonight, and I'm going to start one, but I think I may wait to see if Ara and Mosic find some trouble first
If so, they can expect a little ranged backup until Kith is close enough to leap into the fray with them.
But who knows?! Maybe them dead bodies were a big enough distraction
Also, I did the Eol method of randomization to see if Kith noticed Ch'dau stroooking future blade mum's cheek. Hubba hubba! The mean was 32.7 (rolled a lot of single digits when adding), then I rolled an 89.
I'd like the record to show that the very first time this method has resulted in my favor was for THIS cheek stroke right here!
Kith noticed the heeeelllls out of that cheek stroke. So prepare yourself . . . "What exactly are your intentions with my cat-friend, you Sylvari minx?! My cat friend whom I've known many, many HOURS longer than I've known you HHHMMMM--ah, Aranwen! Stop poking me!"
P.S. Kith won't try to take anything from Aranwen for a little while, she's pretty happy with herself for thinking she succeeded in swiping that trinket unnoticed, for now

;)
Well, you know, 'touch' is a big part of kazari communication, along with 'body-language' (ear and tail postion, etc) and such. Words or only a small part of it in the grand-kitty-scheme of things....
...buuuut, yeah, Ch'dau is pretty intrigued by Ara, for sure. And he's really looking forward to actually fighting beside her.

I'm looking forward to that as well!
I feel like we each have an idea of how our trio will fight together, and I am so excited to see each and every one of them.

Absolutely!
Aranwen with her grace and precision, Ch'dau with his brutal fury, and Kith in the midst of it all bringing that element of chaos to the whole thing!

It begins with a touch
The sense of touch is very important to Aranwen. It's a way for her to take comfort in the presence of others she is fond of.
Something she's been deprived of for quite a while, both here and in HC...
Have an appointment this morning but will be back to write a bit later

See?
Syls and Kazari aren't all that different, it seems... I mean if you don't take into account barbarism vs refinement, anyway.
Come to think of it, that's probably a good part of the reason Ch'dau is so fascinated by Ara to begin with. Both see the world in very similar ways just from curiously different perspectives. Hmmmmm...

Touches all around!
It's important to Kith too, which is why she's so anxious about it now.
And yes, I have a feeling Kith's fangirling over watching those two fight is about to begin.

Soooo
The split off from HC occurs when Aranwen and Ch'dau rescue Kith at the end?

Bit too soon
To say for certain, but it does look that way.
We may need to see what the second part is first to be absolutely certain.

Mmmkay
*grabs popcorn and the nearest animal for comfort. It is a puffy rabbit sticker my friend's 4 year old gave me for my workstation. It isn't much, but it will have to do*

That's my thought, anyway...
...not sure exactly how ambiguous Olan is going to leave things, there, but, yeah. The rough "outline" that I've got moving forward from HC goes a bit like this:
- Kithran gets "rescued" by Aranwen and Ch'dau
- I'm assuming Davena dies but perhaps she's just rendered 'impotent.'
- Kith isn't exactly happy about being saved.
- Also not entirely sure if Gib and Cedric come along for the rescue or not... could be that following that battle in the temple the two clerics go their own ways leaving Ara and Ch'dau to do the rescuing themselves.
- Once they have Kithran back, our little trio makes their way to a yet to be named village, tucked between the Sylvari kingdoms and the Chakran Mountains.
- Probably a bit of conflict and complications arising from Kith on this journey and likely more to follow in their first weeks/months in said village
- Sooner or later, likely sometime after Samuel and Sara have established themselves there, Kith starts coming back to her "old self"
- Where it goes from there.... who really knows?

If I may
I have a rather... Emotional scene in mind. I can see how things might have happened and I'd like to put it in writing, in the event we go with a full split.
Needless to say, it will take a while, and I'm going to wait a bit before starting, but I hope it won't take too long

Of course, you may!!!
I'm pretty sure that neither Bree or myself have EVER thought, "No, Rer! Don't write! We'd rather just look at you and eat cheeze its!"
Can't wait to see what you put together, Butterfly.

What Eol said
I legitimately grin anytime I see either of you have posted or sent me a PM. I'm the biggest fan of your characters and you!
Write away, Rer! The only qualm I have is that now that I know it's coming, my impatience to see what you've created will be raaaaaging
