Hmm...

Poison smiled. "Aww, poor little guy." She suddenly tensed as here energy pulsed through the wings. She soon relaxed, though, and smiled again.

Well now

"Little?"

He smiled.

"Oh well..."

Tired, goodnight Bab

"Oh, I didn't mean it like that." Another wave of power ripped through her back. She frowned: what was up?

Nighty then.

He frowned as she did.

"Whats wrong baby?"

Nothing, nothing

"Nothing." She smiled reassuringly.

"Just my energy working itself up, that's all."

But she wasn't sure.

I don't agree

He propped himself up on his elbows and looked down the length of his body at her.

"Are you sure. I want to know the truth. Are you okay?"

"My tattoos just feel weird."

Poison smiled again.

"It's problably nothing, don't worry!"

No...

"If it happens again...let me know. We'll stop...well, you'll stop. I'm too tired to do anything anyway."

Fine

"Okay, I will."

Poison hated lying, but she wasn't going to tell him. She couldn't: it would worry him.

Nope..you won't lie to me.

He saw the look on her face. He reached up with his right hand and grabbed her back, pushing her down on top of him.

"I want to know whats wrong. You'll hurt me more by lying to me."

I am telling the truth!

"I don't even know if anything's wrong!" She was telling the truth, but Poison wasn't sure if he knew that.

...Well

"Okay", he kissed her softly on the cheek.

He knew technically he was still in Dawns mind. Could she sense all of this? He was confused. The implications of what was even going on confused him. If he was a disembodied spirit, how could he feel any of this. Was it real? It felt like it.

The excitment was gone, she hadn't done anything in a while, so he'd lost the urge to make love.

He just help her on top of him. He was breathing against her, both of their stomachs moved outward at the same time.

The answer to your question....

"Good. Now, I need to go home real quick." She kissed his forehead. "Alright?"

Dawn was scowling at Arun, but it wasn't her fault. Stupid Adrian, stupid Poison. Oh sure, he needed to love someone, but HER? She was covered in tattoos, for Lady's sake! Even worse, she was a filthy Dark Witch. Dawn bit her lip to keep from hurting someone in her anger.

Ummm

"Okay..."

She moved off of him. And he closed his eyes. She had to leave him. She was going to go, for who knows how long. He sat up and moved off the bed, watching her gather her dress and slip it on, moving toward the door.

"Goodbye", he said longingly as she reached for the knob.

Changing

She smiled back at him. "I'll be back soon, I promise." And Poison was gone.
***
Her room looked like it was from the rennaisance age, and she walked over to her ornate dresser. It was filled with all sorts of dresses, all dark colors, and she pulled out her favorite: a short, ragged himmed black dress with purple stitching along the bodice. She quickly changed, thankful again it had only straps for sleeves. Poison pulled on a pair of black slippers and clasped her necklace on: a simple black ribbon with an amythest on it. Then she headed back to Adrian.
