Brom, how far is the security car compared to the stairs? Meaning, if Guardian and DS would make a move that way, would they be able to reach the stairs before the security gets too close? I know I didn't mention the tails, but I'll worry about them later.

If security put the pedal to the metal you'd wind up maybe ten meters ahead of then when reaching the stairwell providing you aren't delayed by the tails.
