Doors
There is a door to the fire escape, isn't there? I'm assuming people need a way to escape. What does it look like? Is there a lock? A key hole? Anything? I guess I'll do an observation roll for it and the window.

Not a door, just a window that actually opens (though it is locked from the inside). But Awareness checks are advised.

Human Perception and Awareness/Notice. Two skills, Keeper. 19 and 18 respectively. I'll PM you the results you can use in your next post.

I only have three players who have posted thus far. Need more.
Keeper, I never sent you the PM. I'll remedy that now.

Ideas
So, the window is double paned tempered glass. As Fixer said in his post, the alarms will sound based on either movement or noise. So how do you get in without noise? A few thoughts:
1. Heat can melt the glass and potentially do so quietly. It is possible the glass would shatter, but also fairly likely it wouldn't. Shattering = alarms. I don't believe Fixer possesses a decent heat source.
2. It wouldnt' be hard to shatter the window and get in quickly - but the alarm would go off. This option requires a way to shut off the alarm before shattering the window or dealing with security once they arrive.
3. Covering the window with tape can help prevent shattering. But since we can only tape the outside of the window it is not guaranteed to be silent. A small nail hit sharply into a corner of the window will do. We would have to do this twice - once for each pane. We also would need to be careful not to tri the motion sensor on the interior window.
4. Try googling for other options - this is about as far as I got.
Please don't just read this without responding with something as we need an option. If nobody has a better idea I suspect we are stuck using tape. I'm guessing we might have some, although I'm not sure. On the other hand I doubt anyone has a flame thrower of sorts. Or do you?

Tape if available and the the nail in the corner. Keeps shards down and at least semi quiet. Melting it might work but gotta be hot.

Good speculation and thanks for participating, Keeper and Nomad. Nomad, I've answered your PMs.
Giddy and Aletheia still need to post.

My post is up
Sorry for the delay.
In respect to getting into the window, the only thing that Bloodbank has that might help is a minisaw. Maybe cut the glass, or something else around the glass to get in? It'd more than likely set off an alarm, when I think about it, in which case we'd probably be better off just breaking the glass and being quick. Perhaps there might be weaker points to saw into that would allow us to just pop out the window. Other then that, I don't really have anything useful.
Also, Bromern in your previous post you mentioned that Bloodbank had to take the radio from Glahn and he took that with him. On Bloodbank's character sheet he has a homemade walkie talkie listed in equipment already, is that a typo or can Glahn have his radio back?
EDIT: Haha, I just read your post a little more carefully Nomad and noticed the bit about the alarms being noise based. The saw would not work in that case then.

Post is up - I missed you guys!
Sorry for my lengthy absence, real life got kinda dark for a bit and I forgot that this game is one of the bright spots.
I don't think Echo has anything quiet to open the window, but she'll shoot thru the glass if you need her to lol

Glad to have you back!
Giddy, there are four walkie-talkies. Ghlahn, Casino, Fixer, and Charlie each had one. Bloodbank just pocketed the one Ghlahn had and seeing as how there wasn't any, "Hey! Give that back!" from Ghlahn, the sniper is now left to his own technologies to communicate with the rest of the group. This is why the walkie-talkie is on the sheet.
Looking for Nomad to add another post with the new information he has and then I'll move things forward!

Walkies?
Thanks Brom!
I thought we all had hime-made walkies that Fixer made us when we went to that shop just before meeting Charlie for the first time?
Or did I miss something in reading back?

He only made four at that time. One for each of the three who would be taking up support positions around the mallplex and one for the group going inside.
There are still agents for those of you who have them, and through the Dark Web's portal site where you were all originally hired, you can pass messages as in-site emails. I don't recall any of you sharing your personal agent numbers with each other except Vegas with Charlie, so that may be the only way to communicate.

I'm learning stuff!
Who knew that role-playing games would teach me how to do a little breaking and entering?
Folks - this is Fixer's best plan. Feel free to tell him to stop. Also, if things go poorly we need to decide if we are going to just bus tthe window and go in at full speed. As dumb as that sounds I doubt there are many other options. But speak up about it. Also, if you are going to help tape, stabilize the window after it shatters or assist in cutting out pieces, you might want to post that as well. Fixer will need at least one more set of hands - I honestly forgot how big the window is, so I'm not sure if more than one person can help at a time.
Bromern - The plan was made assuming that the glass cutter would be quiet. If that is a false assumption the plan would need to be altered. Also, I assume I need to roll something for all of this fun. I'm will to just assume that I roll the best number possible, but if you insist on actual role, please let me know what rolls you need.
