We have lots of artwork, gems etc. as party loot that I think we should sell to Firin. That'll raise 1054gp (depending on if he pays the full amount of what they're worth).

If we sell the staff we picked up we could also raise some extra cash too, but that's only if Deuce/Talus wants to part with it.

Aelistae can't really afford any items at the moment, but I'm going to ask if Firin has some items from the Magic Item Compendium (since I already asked if he has a magic elven courtblade and he doesn't *sniffs*)

I don't mind selling the staff. Really I'm carrying it because no one else could use it, not because I especially wanted it. I doubt I would ever use the thing... except maybe to test for traps, and I think some of our more nature-friendly party members would object to my summoning wolves just to see if they explode.

So writing a sleep deprived Talus at 4.30am when I'm dead tired myself had some interesting results. I hope at least some of that post was lucid.

About the staff, the reason why I suggested we sell it is because it doesn't really fit in with any of our characters (if only because to activate it would require a good result from a use magic device check). Plus it'll maybe allow us to purchase a few trinkets that could be of use.

I had Aelistae take the liberty of buying 3 potions of remove disease and 2 scrolls. The total came to 2700gp, which I figured could be taken from the 4200 the party earned by selling loot.

Aelistae only needs a 3 or more on a d20 check to successfully cast the spell from the scroll, so none of us will be howling at the moon bar a couple of really bad dice rolls.

I've added your share of the split leftover party oot giving you 250 gold, more than enough to buy a simple suit of armor. You may deign to purchase any suit out of the phb, at 10% off the alreadt less expensive gnomish size of the armor or to make it easy on you, tell me what you want and I'll add it into the next update tomorrow.

Or you can deign to have Aelistae fix up her old suit of chain into a male gnomish size if you'd like to save some money that way, with enough down time (say the rest of the day/ night) she should be able to adjust it) the time being considerably shorter than making a suit since the material is alread there and she's basically just 'hemming' chain links lol.

Looking through the seemingingly mundane candlestick and scanning the door shows that the 'candlestick' in the actual door appears to not actually be there, and instead is a relief where a candlestick like object could be affixed, upon closer inspection of tactile use, it appears the 'golden candlestick is a well made illusion, even feeling like it is there, though now knoing better, the Dc check to disbelieve is much more manageable and you may proceed as though you know all is not as it would appear.
