Safe
Well, I guess being pretty means we are safe. So, no worries . . .
I would think this would be a good time for some fire (Of the non-black variety) but Jarenion is probably trapped behind all 7 other party members. He might be able to snake some magic missiles through since they can't miss, but I have a hard time seeing him being able to do much whilst this is going on.
I will try to look through his spell list to come up with options. If he is stuck too far back, he will concentrate on continuing the Wall of Fire - I believe it lasts 1 rd/level once you stop concentrating. So, if nothing else, concentrating on the wall will extend it a bit. That is a big army of zombie rats on the other side of it.
But at least we know we will survive. The DM said so.

hah
We will survive *this round*. That's all we know!
In case you didn't know, coming in late and all, Alacrity actually has a game mechanism he calls "I'm too pretty to die". It's basically a one-use, avoid death card you can play during the adventure. Nobody has had to use theirs yet - though my guy came very close on the very first encounter.
Of course, part of my attitude is a joke for Alacrity. I mean, yeah, we're all gonna die, but my hope is that said deaths will be more cinematically significant.
Also... here is (hopefully) where having a firebrand will come in handy. Or, could just lead to my knight's valiant death.
You know, one or the other.

Ok, boss
So, before I post I suppose I should ask the one in charge As previously noted we are pretty well crammed into a small hallway. Can Jarenion cas spells at our friends the ice skeletons?
Magic missile seems likely since it always hits.
A lighting bolt?
What about a Bigby's forceful fist to keep them away? Can he do that? If so, might it allow him to push it past a pit and block access to us? The fist can be big enough to fill the hallway. This seems like a good choice if he can see enough to do it. The spell descriptions I have read on line are not precise, does the fist have to begin directly in front of him, or can he interpose it in front of group members and push forward from there?
So, what can a wizard do?

Mage
Well, lightening may be a bad idea in a short corridor considering the bounce back possibilities.
Fire has worked against these creatures so you may want to try that but directed spells like burning hands. The is also Acid Arrow that may help.
You might want to consider blocking the other side of the corridor with something like a wall of stone, or force or Iron to prevent more of the ice-skeletons from attacking. They obviously can take some damage so wall of fire might not keep them out.
There is also the idea of casting protection spells on yourself or the party members.

How is this
The wall of fire is the darker red, the lighter red shows the skeleton movement that you can see.

Better............
Thank you. I wasn't sure if Ody was close enough for melee and couldn't tell how close the others were.
I should have asked sooner.
Now time to write and rewrite!

Knee deep in NPC duty
With Olan's wife having another child, I will be covering Arien for awhile. That means I am controlling Max and Arien but still waiting on responses from .... everyone except Keeper.

for the record
Arien will jump in to defend Fin with his flaming sword and heavenly charms.
Maximus will stand his ground and hold faith in his burning blade to defeat the Skeleton-pop.
