Lindsey Stirling
I too love LIndsey Stirling! Great choice, though of course the context is so difficult.
And agreed and completely understand the jumping back and forth thing. Part of why I've been taking my time in posting is because playing off your characters helps. Our characters in KCandK, are so fun, grinning and teasing so much, definitely not what's happening in HC.
I'm I guess, kind of lucky? Having finished up Little K and HC Kith being an NPC, I don't have to hop around too much--other than of course making a new character for everyone to fall in love with--whew, so much pressure! Haha jk jk jk.
Anyhoo, take your time, Rer!

New character
Bringing us a mage next go round, eh?
That should be fun! Any details you wanna share?

Magey mage
I had never played a rogue before, and oooobviously that is so much fun, but my bread and butter is wimpy magic users, so a mage was the first thing that came to mind when I was thinking about what I might want to play next.
I literally JUST created a new google doc to begin writing down some ideas I've had haha soooo I don't have much . . . human, female, mid-twenties . . . aaahhhh . . . enjoys long walks on the beach . . . aaahhhh, not much else figured out yet. I've been bouncing ideas off of Olan though so weeee'llll see.

Cool...
... I was just curious. Didn't need details, just kinda wondered.
As to "bread and butter" characters, mine are usually in the vein of rogues or rangers. Ch'dau is the first full-on fighter type I've played in YEEEAAAARRRSSSS. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did.
In fact, when I signed up for HC, my initial thought was to put on a rogue but I sidelined that when Kith was created... How coincidental is that?

Tell. Me. About it.
Haha that'll teach ya!
I had dabbled with a ranger in one game that fizzled pretty quickly IRL, so Kith was my first actual martial character. It had taken a little convincing to get me to join too, but I'm suuuuuuuuper glad I did haha.

Amusingly
When Olan PM'd me to see if I'd take on the role, I had a rather strong itch to make and play a bladedancer/bladesinger type of character, so that was a rather happy coincidence

*Rihanna kicks open the door*
They found love in a hopeless place!
And yeah, didn't expect . . . Kith to either . . .

Lovely post, Butterfly!
Have something in mind for Ch'dau's next, as well, but I know Bree has something in the works, so I'll stand by for a bit in order to see what comes of that.
FWIW - I see the "outbuilding" being a smallish structure (especaially as compared to the manor house. Maybe 20'x20' or so and only a single, low-roofed story (from the outside, anyway), a wide, two-doored entry on the manor-facing wall (much like barn doors) and a single, iron bound door at one side. No windows available to peer inside.

Also, will try to finish my post up when I get home tonight but it might be pretty late--got a hot date so don't wait up for meeeeee

Ooooh!!! A hot date!!!
Hope it goes well for you, kibibi! And, if it doesn't, "F" them! Anybody would be lucky to have you and, if they can't see it, they're not worth your time.
I'm kind of really hoping that Ch'dau will find, at least, his dak'tar in that outbuilding - these leg sleeves are drving him crazy - and, of course, the falcata are preferable to short swords but... you know... v'yo v'yo'te ("whatever" in the kazari). lol
Anyhoo... you finish up whenever you get to it, Kithvena! We'll be here... and I'll be working on the next installment of the epilogue while I wait.
P.S. Making up kazari words on the fly is sooooooo much fun!!!

*eyebrow waggle*
Re: Hot Date: Thanks, cat-beast, it's just something to do at the very least!
Re: Dak'tar and weapons: Hmmm, well, gosh, I hope they're in there! *sound of typing intensifies*
Re: Capashanese: I looooooove this language! "v'yo v'yo'te" took me a sec, "vyo-vyotay" is how I ended up pronouncing it--but maybe it's more "vee-yo, vee-yo-tay"? How would you say it?
Also, I thought Kithvena was another Kazari word at first lol, I was like, "that's not really as cute as kibibi", but actually it's CUTER
Jk, kibibi fa life!

v'yo v'yo'te...
"vyo-vyotay" is closer to the way it sounded in my mind, really... A glottal stop here and there might be more accurate... "veh'YOH veh'yoh'TAY"? Something like that... but, yeah, a non kazari saying vyo-vyotay would be close enough for a fuzz face to know what you meant, even if they also thought; "You be talkin' funny, t'mbili!"
Aaaand, yeah, I just pulled "Kithvena" outta my pu'nda (that's kazari for ass, bee-tee-dubs)...You're into her enough that we oughta start "shipping" the thing like Brangelina and such, right?
