finishing my thoughts
Too tired...
What I meant to say in that last entry is that my post is rather lengthy as it covers a lot of things over a long period of time. Because of that, my post will delayed a day or two - so if you wish to post Blammm, that is fine by me. I will weave whatever you give me int othe storyline.
However - if you can't post by the end of the day (Monday) please let me know. Believe it or not, your actions will influence things in this bar and I need to know. The right chain of event occurs and you are sitting pretty for the evening. Wrong chain of events and you are Sheriff Wyatt's first arrest for murder. Not that those are the only two options, but they are the extremes.

10-4
I have got to posting yet this morning. Some family issues have come up and I've been delayed.
I should still have time to post before the day's through though. You make it sound as though Asher's actions could get all heavy like.... anyway I can throw in a few plot points on the front end of things to keep things smooth?

relax
I am just messing with you. Go ahead and post and let the chips fall where they may.
Why do all my players get so paranoid????
BTW - Tann, if you don't get to a post don't worry. You are fixing the mule right now which doesn't require a whole lot from Wolf at the moment.

Didn't get it done...
So, yeah... I had a sick little girl that needed some care today, and two meetings at work that came out of nowhere.
I know I don't need to apologize for real life stuff, but I wanted to express my frustration.
I probably won't have time tomorrow to post, so continue on.

Sigh...
Hey Gang,
Just wanted to touch base to let you know I'm SWAMPED with RL stuff. We're downsizing at work. Fortunately, I still have my job. Unfortunately, I've also been given the jobs of two other folks too. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and not sure when it's going to simmer down here.
Beyond (and, maybe, because of) RL stress and stuff, I also find myself in a bit of a writer's funk. I don't want to hold up the game, or for it to become burdensome. So, I wanted to throw out some thoughts and see what you think:
1) Alacrity, you could NPC Asher for a while and hopefully RL cools off a bit sooner as opposed to later.
2) We look to write Asher out. I was thinking now might be a good time. I could see Asher taking on the job of Sheriff for a spell.
Option #1 is hopefully that things slow down for me again sooner... and really, I can't promise that... not yet at least.
Option #2 allows Asher to live on, and possibly join up again with the crew at a later date (or at least have a few silver screen moments). It also frees you up to look for a new recruit who actually post now.
Anyway, I just wanted to tip my hand, as it were.

No!
Breathe Asher, breathe!
As your captain I'm ordering RL to make time for your posts, and for your muse to catch you with yer britches down 'round yer boots.

wait a sec
Blammm - you are not delaying this game. I have been taking care of my son who developed an infection in both ears and throat on Saturday pass. Cathy has been travelling since Sunday so I have been struggling with sick son, work and a lack of sleep - hence no post from me.
As I have a newborn, a daughter on the edge of puberty and a wife who travels for work, I do fully understand real life issues. That is why this game is so leisurely.
I would sooner cut off my arm than lose Asher. I am more than willing to NPC him for awhile until you can get back on your feet. I would also remind you that your post doesn't have to be award winning every time. A couple of paragraphs of intentions and thoughts are enough for now.
If you do choose to drop out, it will sadden me but I will understand as I go through RL problems all the time. However, this game and cwwllo keep me sane, so I stick to them.

Besides... what would Ma say?
We're all more than familiar with what kind of havoc RL can play on your 'game time,' Blammm... no need to drop just because you're swampped. Like everyone else has said, Roc without the Kid ruttin' around all over the gorram place jus' wouldn' seem homey-like, get me?
Point being, take your time, relax, focus on the RL stuff cuz we all know it's more important, and we'll keep Asher in the loop for ya... I can always pull him into Sam's post and keep the banter going, if nothing else, and would be more than happy to do so until you get freed up again.
Hang with us a while, Di di... we ain't leavin' nobody else on this rock...

lol... thanks :)
Thanks guys.
I appreciate your encouragement. I shall stick with this game. I also really like Asher and, as I've said, love this game.
So... count me it. It may just take me a awhile to post.
Thanks again!
Blammm

control
For NPCing Asher, I would prefer a PC take the reins, not me.
Volunteers?

Sorta volunteering...
As I said, I'd be happy to help out in keeping Asher NPC'd... pretty sure I can keep a grip on any interaction he'd have with Sam, anyway, and we all know the Kid's strong points... not sure that I'd get the dialogue down 100% but I'll be willing to assist where I can.

OK, so it was some time in the making.
Sorry it took so long to post. Been caught up in illness some myself. Anyway, I took the post some distance and hope I provide you with plenty to work with, folks.
Roger, I'll need to know the expenses for Roc an' the crew so I can get everything financially straight. That sneaking around will come about if Willow finds out anything concerning Ethan Ludlow and where he stayed while in town. Sure wish Sam was up an' about to go along on that should it happen, but oh well.
Looking forward to seeing what happens.

whoa
You gave me a lot to work with, and blew my plans completely out of the water. Not that was a bad thing, i had just expected you to do one thing and you decided on another. It is good to keep me on my toes but I will have to delay posting a bit.
Finances - I will look into that this week. The mule will need some major fixing, you need fuel, and you are pass due on at least two regular maintenances of Rocinante(Kora warned you when you left Beaumonde, which was a spell ago). then there is the usual food, port fees, septic flush, freah water, power hookup, etc etc etc. But I will calculate all that for you.

Really?
Was it the massive distraction I set of the bellydancing midget clowns?

Posts in the works...
for both Rocinante and CWWLLO. Had intended to get more done this weekend but thanks to what Robert urich used to refer to as an 'adult sized bangaroo' on the old Excedrin commercials, I didn't get finished anywhere near what i would have liked.
Anyhoo... as i said, stuff in the works for all my games... readble stuff coming soon.
