Yeah! What Brom said...
...see the first post in the Q&A for more details!
Nice posts, all. I'd planned to have one ready by now but went canoeing instead. Have something tomorrow morning.

agreed
This is covered in the very first part of the Q&A, but it bears restating here.
Consider this game to be moderated freeform. You can write your character into whatever situation you like, within reason, provided a few things:
1. You do not act for, speak for, or directly influence other player characters. It is never kosher to injure or kill off another player character. It's a good idea to always clear actions that impact another character with that player.
2. The above applies, to a lesser extent, to NPCs that don't belong to you. It's cool to write dialogue for an NPC, as long as it makes sense - said NPC is on duty or should be present at the time of your post, and you aren't going against the personality that their owner has created for them. It's almost always a good idea to clear your ideas with the owner of an NPC. However, you can always reasonably assume that NPCs will follow direct orders.
3. You are free to introduce side plots, "character interest" stories, or the like - especially if they expand upon the current story.
For instance, you're about to beam down to a planet, but you post that there is a locking issue with the transporters, and the AWAY team has to take a shuttle instead. Maybe some system needs an unexpected calibration or adjustment for the mission at hand. Cool!
Another common tactic would be to post about what your character does in the holosuites during their downtime.
You might post about social interactions between your character and someone else. This prompts more posting, and helps establish relationships.
What's not cool is to change the main plot - that is the domain of the GM only. You're tired of the current diplomatic mission and decide to have the ship called away due to a Romulan attack? Expect me to retcon the post, and perhaps invite you to find a game more to your liking.

Okay...
...unless Yana and I pick up on our Tochi meets Louise collab, again, that'll be all from Tochi until Capt Drake takes the bridge (and/or whooshes us forward).
I may still have a scene or two from other Flight Control personnel to pin to the boards at some time later today and, of course, if there's any engagement with the Trill in advance of Drake emerging from his ready room, I'll address that, as well... soooo... Olan.... POST!!!
Good stuff, all around, folks! So glad to see this picking up again. I've missed you all terribly!

Space police
Sir, your loyal security teams are prepared to be conveniently absent around the airlocks should the need to space some gods damned traitors come to pass.
Addendum: Since this is technically season 2 we don't have the really ugly Dustbuster phasers anymore right? I was thinking about how I can't have my security officers wandering the halls of the Peregrine such an ugly POS strapped to their hips.

The Curse of Black and Decker
All the sources I can dig up suggest they were on the way out some time in 2365, so maybe we got some new replicator patterns? Maybe? Please
The last appearance is in Shades of Grey briefly, which takes place roughly in December (the end of the year :S) that said though, the enterprise is on a deep space assignment, they haven't been at a starbase as of late maybe?
Can anyone tell that I really dislike those phasers?

Ermagerd...
...I had totally forgotten/overwritten the "dustbuster" phasers... and the collarless uniforms... as one is wont to do with traumatic memories, I suppose.

Maybe our loyal security officers "accidentally" spaced all the old uniforms and phasers
Good thing we have those new replicator patterns.
