noooo

Nooooo!!! I'm terribly sorry! Seems like I accidentally hit edit instead of reply and destroyed your post, breebles.

Never happened to me before and now it happened again. Didn't even realise I could edit other people's posts, although as a Mod, of course I can.

I'm really sorry.

Once again we hear them calling for war
It doesn't matter what they're fighting for
They light the match and watch the whole world burst into flame
The story's always the same
So tell me people are you ready to kill?
Behold the propaganda, get your fill
A distant enemy is threatening our freedom again
How much would you like to spend?

Millions are falling inline
And it's just a matter of time
Endless destruction will ensure their pockets are lined
For all time

No more defending the lies
Behind the never-ending war
It's time to make them realize
We will no longer be their whore

No more, no more
No more, no more
No more, no more

They don't care about the blood on their hands
Look at the world and you will understand
They count the money as the innocent continue to bleed
They're always planting the seed
So tell me people are you ready to die?
Without believing in the reason why
They paint a picture and the whole damn world is deceived
It's all that they ever need

Millions keep falling inline
It's only a matter of time
Sowing destruction will make sure their pockets are lined
For all time

No more defending the lies
Behind the never-ending war
It's time to make them realize
We will no longer be their whore

No more defending the lies
Behind the never-ending war
It's time to make them realize
We will no longer be their whore

No, it can't be disguised anymore
How they smile as we pay for their war

No more defending the lies
Behind the never-ending war
It's time to make them realize
We will no longer be their whore

No more defending the lies
Behind the never-ending war
It's time to make them realize
We will no longer be their whore

No more, no more
No more, no more
No more, no more

okay

I did a small update here.  Was really hoping for a Blackthorn post.

Some housekeeping:

You can assume that you will recover your gear with a little searching (it is dark, after all).  That falcatta is going to take some effort to pull from the tree, but it is doable.

If the plan is for the priests to burn all of thier healing, you can assume that no one is worse off than moderately wounded... I'll make an official update to this soonish.  You may all be no worse than lightly wounded.  Of course, you're also basically out of divine magic, too.

As much as it pains me to do so, I am removing KDXart from the game.  It just doesn't appear to be happening.  Cest la vie.

Out of magic...

...this is prior to a night's rest, correct? Not to presume that we'll get an entire night, uninterrupted, but, on the off chance that such a miracle happens, will it be enough for our clerics to have their spells restored?

Too bad re: KDX... I was truly hoping that someone would breathe some life into Midge.

Post in the works as I'm able to grab a minute here and there.

Mages require an uninterrupted eight hours of rest to restore their spells, so Midge will be down a bit unless you guys give him extra time.  Clerics need to be well enough rested to still cast, but their spells are granted prayers - not just arcane skill, so they will be able to regain their spells as long as they continue to pray and worship as their religions dictate.  Both Therassor and Solanis grant spells to their clerics at dawn, so they should be fine.

Agreed re: Midge.  I think that he will go down as one of the biggest disappointments in a group I have DMed, at least in terms of what he COULD have been verus what he actually HAS been.

Noted

Good deal! Just wanted to be sure as I'm all but certain that magical assets and availability play more than a little into strategy.

Ch'dau might think he's indestructible (especially in the throes of battle) but he's also smart enough to realize that he'd likely not be alive to keep fighting were it not for the healing magics of priests, yeah?

Hurricanes, pshaw!!!

We just survived a horde of undead and you're worried about some puny hurricane?

In all seriousness, though, baton down those hatches and stay safe, Blackthorn. Here's hoping it passes you by with little more than a stiff breeze and a refreshing rainshower.
