"Would you let a vampire hurt your sibling? She didn't hurt you, she just covered her tracks." She asked angerly. Great she was losing her ability to keep people pinned.

"Grr... Lemme give you a lesson on silver, Lycan." A biting edge came to his voice, almost derogatory at the word Lycan. "Silver burns our lungs. It hurts. More than anything else. Also, my sister is safe from being hunted, girl. Mind what you speak about."

Jessica rubbed her temple. Contral your anger, Contral your anger. Jessica said "Sorry D'Artigo. I just losing my temper a lot. I'm sorry." She really was.

"I can tell, cat." D'Artigo's tone still holds that derogatory term. "Try to let it not happen much. I can lose my temper as well. And it's not pretty. Probably the only time I'm not good looking."

At this rate D'Artigo might just kill her. Jessica headed towards the trail where Miv and Erina were.

D'Artigo followed her, casting a wistful glance over his shoulder, looking for the other Lycan. Seeing nothing, he sighed. "It looks like your friend there got away. Now, I must say, why did you try to pin me? I'm more agile than you think."

"Old habit of mine. If I chase something, I tackle it and pin it. It works on Lycans."

"Good tactic if your opponent doesn't know how to get out of it. But with all of the momentum that you have, it's rather simple to redirect it to get you away from me. Some more clever tactics though, are just as easy to do, and twice as hard to get out of." D'Artigo looked around. He hadn't seen Miv or Erina for a while... he wondered where they were.

"Are you trying to give me tips for battle?" Jessica asked. She was failing to hide her smilie.

"Tips for battle, or tips for life? I assure you, battle is not something I choose to do. I would live free of violence, and only with love if given the choice. However, everyone else seeks to destroy my kind. I give you tips for interacting with others."

"What I have learned for battle, I use for hunting... both food and love. And both, if such a case arises. It is quite simple, really. Just some idle advice." D'Artigo's mask hid the majority of his face, but his eyebrow raised.

"Sadly in this life it seems everyone has to fight to survive." Jessica face was blank when she said this. However her voice sounded as if in grive.

"Yes so it would seem... though what better place to find people who are just seeking for that rock which to lean on than a world where everything that one thought existed shatters? What better place to be that rock that everyone looks for than that world?"

D'Artigo chuckled, this chuckle turning into pure mirthful laughter.

"Kitten, what better place to help everyone cover their eyes to the horrors of the world than a battlefield? This is my world, where I thrive. People are much more loving in times of strife."

"So you belive in love is the way to surive? I have never anyone other then my siblings and I'm alive. A little damaged but that happens in life." she asked smiling. His laugh for some reason made her happy.

"And so, that is your love. Your love of your siblings. You have a reason to live on. When you live a long time, love means a lot. When you learn to the difference between love and live is a small one, you know."

'Oh great D'Artigo having an effect on me.' Thought Jessica. However she wasn't angry, it had been a long time since she had smiled and been happy. The last time was when she, Julia, rebecca and ricky had a play fight. It was the day before her father made his decison... She knocked that thought out of her head.
