Dawn launched into an explanation of what had happened, al;so adding in details about Adrian, Algus, and Edward.

By the end, Kate's mouth hung open once more.

"Yeah..." Dawn blushed.

"I...I guess I'm not the only one with a story behind them after all..." She looked slightly reassured.

"Nope!"

Dawn laughed softly.

"Well, that's good to know." She smiled sincerely.
"On that note, d'you mind telling me where the rooms are...?

(Assuming this place is dorm status. I figure it must be.)

"Uh... I don't know... but you can room with me!"

Dawn was back to Ms. Lovey-Dovey Everything now.

"O-oh, wow, thanks very much, Dawn!" She grinned sheepishly. "You're so kind!"

"Ah well, I'm too lovey-dovey. You'll get annyoed eventually."

"I doubt that somehow. I'm not a hell of a lot different m'self."

"Uhh, just don't worry too much if I don't show up one night." Dawn winked at her and inclined her head towards Donald.

Kate laughed. "No worries."

Dawn suddenly became serious. "Do you know your schedule?"

"I, erm...no." She shrugged.

Dawn laughed. "Then you're with me, screw what my father will say."
