Just hearing echoes of Ody . . . .
Anybody have an opinion on what comes next? We need some posts on healing at least before we can move this thing forward.

How About This??
Well Max is the only one in ergent need to healing so Lun could attend to him while Ody, in Hybred form, Arien and Kadrin lift the door. Jar and Sparrow stand ready to fend off any sudden attacks. I am guessing that we are all able to get across the pit and into tunnel.
If this sound good to all I'll get a post up on Ody going to the door the help lift. I'd say Arien should be directing the actions as our leader. If I don't see a post I'll just have Ody suggest these as he moves toward the door.
If Lun acts first to heal Max then Max can check the door for traps before we try to lift it.

Sorry guys but I'mm calling this
Been almost a month since I posted and I got three people replying. So I am calling time of death for this thread.
I want to thank Keeper, Tann, Ody and Nomad for consistently posting. Perhaps I can come up with a game for all four of you alone. But I lost Tiamat last week, Olan is too bogged down in RL and I know Nimu has RL issues as well. Hammer is gone and I have already replaced two players before.

Well this sucks
I understand the reasoning but still will miss this game just like the last CWWLLO.
Why not just do this....... Keep this game going with just the 4 of us and just rework it for 4 people. Instead of 300 Wights just send 20. Instead of 1000 Orcs just send a few 100. Instead of a lvl, sure to kill us all trap, just place a trap with 50% chance to kill us. This may sound like I'm joking but I'm completely serious about this idea.
Hell I do it all the time in Trilogy.
Oops did I reveal too much?

Ok.......
Well we can just let it flash back the Red Dragon Inn common room where the fighter Alacrity sets his tankard down and says, "Ah so on my return I shall finish this tale of your favorite advantures."
Or something like that.
BTW, I am keeping this Ody build for an awsome tabletop game.
Thank you Roger for running the game and helping me build this Ody.

Well
I could conceivably start a game using Max, Sparrow, Ody and Jarion. It is a small but balanced party.

Thanks for having me....
Sorry about my real life stuff going on. I read up on the story from the beginning and it was a good one. Hope it continues.

I'm in if something flies
I am more than willing to keep going with whatever works if that is doable. I'd offer to change character if needed since I didn't create Jarenion, but since he is the mage, he seems needed. But let me know and I'll be there.

I'll throw in my own regrets and apologies.
Sorry to see this fizzle. Hopefully something can be worked out for your four troopers.

Well Balanced
Well we are well balanced depending on what Alacrity will throw at us....
We have you Nomad as the Mage.
We have Ody as the Cleric with the ability to shape-change. Unlike a normal Druid/Shaman he has access to all Cleric spells so having enough curing spells should be no problem.
We have Keeper as our Ranger who provides a good scout, a good fighter and a back-up cleric.
Then we have me as a Fighter/Thief which gives us a 2nd good fighter and the group's thief. My skills are concentrated in Opening Locks and Finding/Disarming Traps plus with my magical thief tools I should be able to open most locks and disarm most traps.
We all have good gear and if Alacrity allows us to forage among the dead party members, NOT LOOT, we will be able to up grade our potions and magic to better help us continue threw the Tomb. I have looked over the other characters sheets and there are a few items that could be very helpful for us, especially the Potions of Healing x3 each of them carried.
Its really all up to Alacrity in the end but I think the 4 of us should give it a go

A game
The one thing that keeps occurring to me about this adventure is that all of these characters set out into great peril specifically to save a friend. And now they see a bunch of their friends die and just move on. (But not looting their gear, no never looting. Just making use of, that is all. Not looting.) Anyway, given the set up of the campaign it seems to me that Jarenion and the others would do whatever was in their power to aid/bring back their companions. That is probably why the one that died already did so by disintegrating. Not much to do there.
Ok, so we can just ignore this little character flaw and move on with the campaign. Or, we could also assume that we would want to do something to preserve the bodies if possible and return to get them on the way out. After all, resurrection has a long history in D&D and these folks seem to know the right people. I'm not suggesting the characters themselves ever return to the campaign, although that would then be possible in the very long term future if things did keep rolling, but rather that this would add one more character wrinkle into the story. It just becomes another goal on the way out. Of course, I think getting out was to be done magically. We just now have more people to save.
Or not. It might be easier to just let them go.
