Does anyone have "Turn Undead"? If the thing is a "Shadow" it will be affected by spells against undead.

Daldren wants to help but being unable to analyze the shadow fiend for any sort of anatomy has him concerned for his combat effectiveness. That being said Daldren will attempt to circumvent the entity to place him by mendez' side. Should the creature gain on the mage Daldren sees fit to intervene making full attacks to by Mendez time, though he will only engage it as a last resort.

Does Danamar have any knowledge of beings called "shadow dread"? I'm sure he's battled his share of undead during the years and even if he hasn't met one before, he might have heard of one still?

Also, Haruspex, might I propose that since this game is set in Audalis, you could swap the name of Heironeous to Therassor or Rydor instead? Gods of Audalis

Heironeus will be replaced by Rydor he may even be more fitting, and not so diffucult to type.

Yes Danamar has never encountered a Shadow Dread but he has heard of them and does know that they are an undead and a very powerful one that drains lifeforce from living creatures... he knows also that they are rather intelligent and have been known to work for powerful evil personages...

Soooo It would seem to me while a couple people are going to stoke the kitchen's oven and such, that at least currently the Shadow Dread has recoiled beyond the building for the time being.

I'm thinking this is a time for more introductions / making possible plans?

I would presume Raven with the immediate threat taken care of would move to heal the fallen mage... But he's not around to actually post... at the same time, I really dont wanna see Mendez die or what not because RAven missed a post due to the inn being down.. That being said.. This almost goes out of character (as Daldren would typically follow order without hesitation)... but due to technical reasons I have to break character..

I'm going to use a potion on Mendez to ensure his health.

or the GM allows Raven to be all cleric-like on Mendez.. ignore Daldren's interaction with Mendez and he'll simply go downstairs and try to procure light sources (and make molotov cocktails from the liquor stores)
