Need to help Rhiannon
Ok, I just lost my last post by trying to back and look up something.
Anyway, i think Tohmaz needs to approach Bri's character because she should recognize his as a Shaman and be comfortable with him directing her healing. He'll need someone to hold the arm wound closed as he removes the arrow from her shoulder. If a healing spell were used before it was removed it heal around the arrow and it would need to be cut out. After she bandaged, made from fall crusaders clothes, he'll try to convince her to join him in a rain dance ceremony.
CEREMONY: Rain dancing heals totally all those who take part in the dance.
Seeing we forgot to tell what we have in our healers bag i thought this might be a good alternative. And Rhiannon should used to seeing similar ceremonies in her clan.
The band watching the ceremony and realizing it's benefit should also bring them closer as a band.
But I need to find the ceremony, I'm not sure how long it takes, but i find it.
If it's too long then we'll just have rely on Good Old healing Spells and time.
What'cha think?

One potential issue
The barbarian would not have a problem with a rain dance, but . . .
Hammer - does Trossach already have the spear - the gift from his god? He only gets it through three rains, correct? Does this rain dance actually produce rain? If so, might there be another way to heal the wound - the cleric, perhaps? Otherwise we risk "using up" part of the time on a very useful weapon.

Rain Dance
I still haven't found the ceremony, I thought I had seen information on it in section on Shaman in one of my 2.0 books.
Some have a duration or elements if I remember correctly. But if our wonderful Keeper will give a ruling i can build on that.

Amazon reactions to males
I though I would clarify something about Rhiannon's attitude towards males. She is not overtly Hostile to males. She is rather neutral about them unless the transgress what she feels is propler for try to force themselves on her. Meals do serve a purpose in amazon society as pillow friends to for carefully selected males as sires.

Rain Dance and Spear
It is about 6-7 hours to Botkinburg so if you all decide to bring the bodies to Botkinburg you can get through the remainder of the night because after dawn you will be in port.
It is quite possible that the other river boats have tossed the dead overboard for fear of the lifeless corpses being reanimated as zombies.
Not saying that is happening here on the Ruby River Boat, but just saying why others may have dumped their dead overboard.
As for the Rain Dance, Odyson is welcome to make up a Rain Dance to completely heal Rhiannon the Monk.
The Spear will not manifest during this Rain Dance for Nomad's character.
The Spear will manifest whenever there is a severe thunderstorm and Nomad's character does a Rain Dance during the thunderstorm.
No Thunderstorms are on the immediate horizon!

Hints from the Keeper..............
Did he just say,

with a straight face? Well I think after we help Bri's character it's time to Perform last rites and give honorable burial at "River".
We'll have several hour left to try a Rain Dance ceremony for Bri, although it may seem odd doing it onboard ship.
The dance is a dance of Honor and Respect to the Elements and Directed through Tohmaz's Goddess. Being respectful to a deity does not disrespect your own deity. If your deity is of the same basic elements then it may even draw their favor.
I'll start a post today on getting to Rhiannon.

Straight Face and ...
..... you seem to have some perception Odyson!
Anyway, Drogo and BluddGrinn are posted so if Brianna's character Rhiannon needs a First Aid and a Cure Light Wounds before we get to Botkinburg then give a shout out to the Dwarf Cleric!
I still have some writing to do for the next Castle Keeper update, so there is plenty of time for everyone else to post their reactions in the Game at The Crimson Crusaders and to post over here in the QnA also if necessary!
Remember that the Cleric has been underground most of his life and just recently arrived upon the surface world a number of months ago!
The Tinker has told him many things, but his interaction with Humans is an ongoing process and his Charisma is rather low, in fact the lowest of all Charisma Attributes in the party!
So he may need some encouragement to cast the First Aid and Cure Light Wounds, unless after a few days as the Castle Keeper it is noted that it needs to be written in the update that it needs to be done by the Cleric!
I will see what Odyson posts and am waiting for some others to post while I prepare the next update!

Got to get cracken......
The Bard is there with Rhiannon so I'll work with her to get the first aid started, the Cleric can stay alert to turn undead.
Shaman are known for carrying a healing pouch, but I didn't list it or any content, do I need to do that before using items that should in there? I'll get one posted for the future if needed. He would typically have healing herbs and plants, along with items needed for his spells.
I should have a post finished late Monday night. I'll try to get a Rain Dance Ceremony posted and a "Last Rites" for the dead to free their souls from the mortal coil and have a honorable burial from the boat. Hopefully that will keep them from rising against us.

FYI - I am not sure about internet access for the next seven days. Trossach just posted, but it is possible (although not certain) that I won't be able to do so again until next Tuesday.

The Dance
Well I've posted the Shaman attending the Amazon. I tried not to make any decisions for her in my post other then her letting Tohmaz aid her. Let me know if she would want to do the Rain dance to completely be healed.
It will basically be her and Tohmaz doing a simple slow rhythmic dance in a circle around the deck. Tohmaz will chant and sprinkle water that had some of Rhiannon's blood from the bandage mixed in. The dance will last nearly two hours and she must complete it once she starts or the wounds will reopen.
Other members may join the Dance if they are moved to do so.
If Rhiannon should falter from pain or loss of blood she may be aided and supported by the Crusaders to help her finish the dance.
The Keeper may decide that this could speed the healing.

Last Rites
I think we need to bury the dead with honor. The arrows and bolts should be removed from the bodies and their weapons removed. Any useful items may also be moved as they may aid the Crusader cause even in their death. Then the Cleric and /or Tohmaz could go to each and symbolically free their spirit. The War Cleric honoring their bravery to join the Crusade and the Shaman to set their soul to peace. Then the others slide the bodies in river.
Any thoughts on this folks.
We don't want armed Zombies on board. Yikes!

Oooops.........
Just noticed I confused Luthor's character and the Bard, I've made an edit to my post.
Keeper, do any of us have "Detect Magic" to see if any of the fallen had helpful magic items? The wizard may have had something useful.

River burial
Although Trossach would normally wish to bring the bodies to the city, if there is a reason to fear zombies or some such thing, than he would support a river burial.
As previously stated, he would suggest that all of the goods be given to the city to aid in its defense.

Greetings from Ghana
I am currently in Ghana, West Africa serving as a volunteer guest teacher in a Bible School.
Have copied and pasted the replies thus far in The Crimson Crusaders and will type up an intro in a few days and get it posted.
Am at an internet cafe with my laptop, so things are fine!
FOR YOUR INFORMATION the Wizard that got whacked with the bolt thru his neck has nothing to offer in the way of magic items.
He was more of a blow hard boaster and was hoping to get 100 gold coins and then stake himself to some items or find some magic items in some treasure somewhere in the recesses of The Black Tooth Ridge.
I have not read the posts from Odyson, Nomad D2 or Brianna as I am charged by the hour at this internet cafe!
Those posts are copied and pasted into a document on my laptop and I will update accordingly!
Burial at sea into the River is a wise choice my friends and bringing the weapons etc and proof of bolts and arrows from the black lightning bolts will soon prove to be prudent as well when we get to Botkinburg.

Happy Thankgiving to all....
I wish all of our story mates, our Keeper and all lurkers a wonderful Thanksgiving. I give thanks for the friends I made here at the Inn. I know that this is an American holiday, but I still extend my thankfulness to all.
