Haha... I think I understand now...

Reralae, I think I understand now. While I think we have it in Vi's background that she spent most of her as a messenger, she only delivered messages to Stonewell Village and Rumblewood.

There are other caravans that travel between north and south and, yes, they do provide most of the communication between north and south.

Yeah

That was exactly what I was asking; I ended up thinking 'if Vi's a messenger how does she not know this place?' and got a bit confused.

That helps clear it up

Open ended... sort of...

While you are welcome to have your characters stay longer in Stonehollow, Bodkin is right -- Weldon is expecting to meet up with you in the morning and travel with you to the Quarry (where the real action is, apparently). Staying or going will each have their own set of consequences... and game time does tick on.

You are also welcome to have your characters go and strike up conversations with the other beasts in the common room. (though, please don't post for them... you can however list the questions you hope your character might ask one of the other beasts).

I'm going to leave you guys for one more posting cycle. Assume you have received all the food and drink you have requested. The other guests are still in the room with you, and Rosey, your host, is presently at the counter, wiping it down and waiting on tables as needed. Martin is not presently in the room.

You can split up if you like and talk to different beasts, you could go from table to table if you want, or you can just head to your rooms. It is determined that Fenir and Oltovian (the not sick ones) will share a room (room 7), while Asher and Vi each have their own rooms (rooms 8 and 6, respectively). The rooms are on the second floor and the number is on the door. There is a shared one-person bath, that is available to guests to request. Presently Asher is the only one who has made a request, though any of your characters may do so. The water is brought up hot for each bath, but the tub has a drain pipe that allow the water to flow outside.

If there not a lot of action between now and Monday, I'll post that the characters went off to their rooms, got a rest full sleep and, after an good breakfast, head out to meet and carry on with Weldon.

Thanks!
Ayrn

Violin?

Speaking of which... did it take water damage? Hope not. Violins are expensive

(I really want to learn how to play violin RL...)

Speaking of violin, I can picture Violet playing this song (well the violin part) in her spare time at the top of a tree somewhere...

PS. 6 is one of my favourite numbers Ayrn

Violin and what's up?

Reralae, your violin is fine. Everyone equipment made it through just fine.

Regarding our story, once again, I'm looking for you to chime in, friends. Shall I progress the story forward? Do you want me to leave the story here for the moment?

I don't want to see the game die, nor bog down, so let me know what going on for you as players:

- Are you bogged down with real life?
- Is something not clear for you in the story? (i.e. you're not really sure what your character should do?)
- Are you dissatified with what going on presently and want to get to some more action?
- Something else?

Let me know. I'm looking for this to be an enjoyable gaming experience for you.

Peace,
Ayrn

In my case...

Combination of homework and upcoming midterms means slightly reduced post rate

My plans are for Violet to find out what was meant (I just have the impression Violet was never one to actually be a person of interest in that manner, so this is kind of new to her) and depending on how she feels, she'll either see what happens with the other squirrels or shyly avoid them. Currently she's leaning towards the latter.

Afterwards her intent is to get a good sleep then can begin their trek to the quarry with Weldon and the others.

i'm still going to post i'll just be slow to respond. i finally have a new tower on order so hopefully in the next week or two i have the problem remedied.

as for Fenir i was hoping for a little rp in the inn but if everyone rather skip to the morning/having gotten sleep i'm up for it.

Connectivity

That sucks Astrid
One thing I can suggest is that you leave the webpage open, and actually type the post in a separate program (ie notepad). That way when it comes to actually posting, you can login, copy/paste your post and submit right away. Makes it more likely for the post to be successful because if you could log in your connection will probably last a bit. In addition, post failure doesn't lose your writing

Violet's next move

I probably wasn't clear in my post (in fact, I checked... I wasn't)... but Rosey's aside to Violet was just that... an aside. She said her bit to Violet and then moved on to go serve customers. So, she's not really around for a dialogue with Violet. You could definitely call her over to talk more. I'm not sure if she really has more to add regarding the squirrels... maybe her general dismay regarding their boorish behaviour.

Anyway, just thought I'd post that in case if wasn't clear and you were waiting for Rosey to respond... she's already long gone.
