WHere is Draven when you need him?
Anybody hear anything from Draven's player He had not posted in a long time and that really has left this group short handed for this encounter, with one dead.

hmmm
I can't remember either, but maybe it's somewhere here in the Q/A... should look that up.
I've had contact with Valimar. He's going through some serious stuff in RL, so he'll be out for a little bit. Still, he promised he would be back sooner than later. But you never know. For now, we hold him off and hope for Draven to return quickly.
I don't know if I'll be able to update today. I'll do my best, but it may not be possible.

ok
I updated, and things are not looking good for Loda, Elessarae and Malius. Especially the ranger is in need of healing, with very little HP left. The bladesinger lost about half her HP and Loda about two third.

ok
Tann, HP is the best way to say it: Malius is under 10 HP.
And Dragon Mistress, retrieving a potion is a move action, drinking it is a standard action, and both actions provoke an attack of opportunity. So if you chose to do this, you can't attack, but you most likely will be a target yourself.

Out of Curiosity
Are we within 25' of the Edge of the plateau?
I ask because then it may be possible to dimension hop him over the edge and down into the oncoming horde.

when
in the next round? Sure... You were pretty much at the edge when the battle started. But how far down does your reach go, because otherwise you're facing another drop-down.

DIe Rolls
OK I need you to roll for me on my Int and my fighting experience as to how best take this goblin down, At this point I am thinking of just tackling him, so he can not use his ax. His armor seems impregnable and his ax is the biggest real danger.

hehe
that is a very nice comment, Dragon M, but I'm sorry to inform you that this is not how it works. You come up with ways to kill your opponents yourself. I roll for this kind of information, if you have a skill or feat that would give you this kind of information.
If I help you in this situation, the next time you get a riddle, you'll roll int to see if your character solves it. The whole point in the game is that you get through tough situations and that you and your characters learn from them, right?

New Knowledge
Well I have Bardic Knowledge.
Seems D&D needs a some new knowledges, like Warcraft, Tactics, Strategy and Blademaster

yep
tactical skills would definately be a good addition.
Bardic knowledge will give you information about goblins, and that you're most likely facing an unholy warrior, or paladin. In goblin society, these warriors have a higher status than the average brute, and are trained to be champions of whatever god they worship. Perhaps playing to his vanity and godliness would help?

Question
Okay Can Geim see that the party members around the Goblin leader are in trouble, like badly hurt?
If he can, how far is he away from them? Will a move or full run bring him to them this round?
What sort of check does Geim have to make to figure out what that goblin may be using as a Damage reducer? And what could he do about countering that?

geim
Geim can definitely make it to the 'main combat' and heal somebody in a single round.
As for the protection... that's a good question. Perhaps I would allow a Spellcraft check... but it would be a really high DC. You have to remember though, that using a skill like that takes up either a move or a standard action, in both cases you cannot heal anymore.
So it's your decision: healing, or spellcraft.

back and moved in!
Another Drop down? I was just thinking If I go and smack him for a Dimenshion hop on top of the damage, I can direct him 25 feet over the edge of the plateau, which would insight fall damage (much like I just suffered)
Does that sound feasible (obviously pending rolls?)
