Okay... so, after posting, today, I started yutzing around with a few other Star Trek: Peregrine things... Most notable of those, I set Ens Thomason to NPC status in the roster (Arcani hasn't been logged on since March, so i figure he's vanished on us... If he returns, I'll happily switch him back to a PC and he can let me know if the pic I added does his vision of the character justice.
). Speaking of the roster, I added a tiny bit of info regarding Crewman Adler (to include a pic, parent/sibling names, etc). Still more to come on that front, as I imagine we'll be seeing some more of him as the game goes on.
I'm now in the process of reviewing the logbook and figuring out where entries need to be added, etc. Not sure exactly how quick I'll be about updating it, but I'm hoping that I can get more or less caught up by this weekend.
Thirdly... my recent flurry of posting has also inspired me to knock the dust off of my "artistic skills" and I've started toying with the idea of a "crew portrait" of some sort... Got a few really rough sketches (call them "layout studies") and am creeping up on sitting down to put some real effort into it. Not sure yet if I'm going old school pencil and paper or if I'll see about knocking the rust off of my digital painting skills but, either way, stay tuned. Oh... and, yes... I have started piecing together a 3D model of the
Aurora Angel just because... If it gets to a point where it looks somewhat presentable, I'll sahre that as well.
Finally, if any of you are looking for a "reason" to post (or, for that matter, just looking for a spark to get a post started) remember two things: 1) Just because a particular PC hasn't interacted with you directly doesn't mean that you can't engage with the player and work something out (even if it's just a passing convo in the corridor, The Aerie, etc)... I'm always willing to interact in order to flesh out our little saga (be it as Zai or, if need be, any number of NPCs); and, 2) There are PLENTY of NPCs on the roster that are just begging to be utilized (and, I think, in some cases, space for more to be added), feel free to borrow a body from time to time, if you're really wanting to explore where you can go (again, I'm always willing to participate in whatever capacity... and, I'm sure, some of the rest of us are as well).
Let's keep going folks! Even though we haven't really gotten into the "meat" of our mission, we've got some good stuff brewing on the side-burners! Jump in and swim!!!!
