Also...
...Breeble's ;ast post brought up a good point. Out of the entire party, I'm thinking that only Kith, Aranwen, and Ch'dau have any form of night/low-light vision. Is that right?
If so, might I suggest that those three take the lead heading into the caves? "Monkeys with torches" at the fore might serve to diminish whatever small advantage the party as a whole might gain from those capabilities... Alternatively, especially if we make it deeper into the caves and there are few light sources, we may want to place two at the fore and one at rear guard.... *shrugs*... just a thought (following a drink) before I go to bed.
I blame Olan and his creepy-a$$ story for my paramoia...

Also, re: kazari holidays -
- I imagine so! Probably not a ton of "official holy days" per se, but most certainly various celebrations amongst clans and such... much meat, much feasting and fighting, and if no one leaves missing an ear or minus a mate or two, did anyone really have fun?

Light sources
I had more or less the same thought, keep the light in the middle, and those with dark-piercing eyes acting lookout both ahead and behind.
I see torches on Aranwen's character sheet, but do we have any lanterns? Partially covering lanterns with spare clothing would limit the amount of light they project upward, reducing our light signature greatly while not hindering the aid of light at the ground to find sure footing, particularly if there are damp slippery stones
Also how good are we overall at sneaking? I can see that Aranwen doesn't have the skill specifically, what of everyone else?

RE: Cat Fests: Kithran. Would. Have. Thriiiiiived as a kazari. She'll just have to settle with cosplaying as one at Gen Con.
RE: Darkvision: I only have torches too in my inventory. Scout Kith is on the job though! Maybe just like, a teensy weensy itty bitty little tiny microscopic bit like a little bit afraid or whatever, but not really. She's down to help the party out and scrape out any small advantage they can.
I do worry about Gib's guilt trip though. I, Breebles, want to comfort the guy.
RE: Cave: Olan, does the mist seem to go into the cave? Or is it just dark beyond belief?
RE: New post: And now we have a plan! What. Could. Go. Wrong?!

To be very precise - you've found the track that leads to the caves. You haven't foudn the cave entrance yet.
Re: sneaking - Kithran is a sneaky rogue, able to be shockingly silent. Nobody else specifically has the skill.
Ch'dau, being a Kazari, is naturally quiet in his movements, and has no clanky metal armor to give him away. Likewise, Garn is pretty quiet for a boorish human. Cidals are known for being light on their feet, so Midge is largely as quiet as Ch'dau. Davena is similar to Garn - not "skilled" sneaky, but pretty quiet.
Cedric's gear is not particularly loud, but he is not particularly quiet. Gib sounds like a stereotypical solider tromping around.
Re: light - no lanterns, torches only.
Aranwen, Ch'dau, Kithran have infravision to some degree, and Davena claims the ability to see in the dark to a point (magic?). Gib, Cedric, Midge, Garn have no ability to see in the dark.

Whew, that's some good info, and I enjoyed Midge speaking up to remind us dummies to check for traps and magical alarms! Lol

Marching order
Okay. We've been a little fast and loose with this wandering around in the open, but now that we're about to head into a dunge... er, cave that theoretically holds a temple, I'd like to know the marching order. Who soaks the poison darts, who falls into the pit traps first, who is exposed by the flanking monsters, etc.
Yes - the concern is a nice piece of RP.

yep
The activity here is fantastic. I thinkt hat everyone save Cedric has already posted this round, though I do need clarification here in the Q&A, too. But when those items are checked off, I'll post again.
The fun is almost upon us!
