Yuuus!
I have a looooong bus trip ahead of me, so I was saving it until now

Just a li'l post
Was re-reading and realized Kith had taken quite a bit of psychic damage from that spell, and was feeling like writing a little for Kithy about it. She gets hit in the head pretty often.
Maybe we should get her a helmet for her bday.
Also not sure what you two have lurking around the creepy corners ahead of us so I'll leave that to you *Twilight Zone music plays*

Professional!
Get out of my head!
Also, after finishing Letterkenny I was supposed to start The Mandolorian, but accidentally started and immediately fell in love with Killing Eve--about a quirky little socio/psychopathic narcissistic professional assassin who discovers someone in MI6 is on to her and goes after her and by my description of her I'm sure you can see why I'm already addicted.
RE: Cub'dau: Well done Eol! This is fantastic so far and I can't wait for the rest! I absolutely love love loooove Cub'dau, and again, the world and culture you've created is so full, and interesting, and distinct from the rest of our stories. I am a fan girl.

Just a lotta post
First episode of The Adventures of Cub'dau finally came to a decent end point. Got it tacked up but have yet to add the new Kazari words and phrase to the "sourcebook." Which, I suppose, doesn't really matter since I translated as I went in the collab doc.
Got something in mind for the next installment of our rascally runt but the day is getting short and I need to get the truck loaded up. Not sure exactly when I might get a chance to post up something in our "current" time frame - tomorrow night at the very earliest, I'm sure - so feel free to forge ahead without me until I get back.
P.S. Awwww! Thanks, Bree! I'm glad you're enjoying it! It's taking a bit of thought to get all the nuances of Kazari culture down, but the more I write, the easier it is to pull things out.

Before I forget...
...credit where credit is due and all that!
I thank Reralae for the results of Rrow'cus' choosing. The whole idea of m'cha'wi m'weu'si (arcane blacksmith) was inspired by one of her posts earlier in this very Q&A. Soooo, thanks for that, Butterfly!

Hehehe
I can't help but think of the exchange between Ch'dau and Aranwen in the garden, specifically the part where Aranwen brought up that she found Kithran's impatience echoed that of herself when she was very young and asked of Ch'dau when he was likewise young
Fun to see his... vocabulary started early

Yeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhh....
...kind of took that bit of Ch'dau's personallity from my own life experiences, truth be told.
Being raised in a military family, we found ourselves moving every couple of years and, as a result, I was always the "new kid in school" and, on top of that, I've never been the biggest guy, so I tended to get bullied a lot. Developed a smart mouth very early on as a result and learning how to take the big guys down in a fight came soon afterward. Sooo, with Ch'dau being a runt and an "outsider" from the get go, I figured he'd be very much the same.

Interesting
Kith got her unbridled narcissism from me! Lol
I bet Cub'dau and Little Kithran would have absolutely destroyed Calestra together as kids
That arcane blacksmith idea is really cool. Nice teamwork on that one!

Nobody likes you when you're 23
Been thinking a little bit about Kith's tenure at the Silken Favor. I didn't get too much into it in this post, Kith being pretty well-established there at this point. To summarize her time there though, she continued taking local contracts in Ethryn and making contacts; she worked as Madam Jacquelyn's personal bodyguard whenever she left the Silken Favor, as well as taking it upon herself to seek retribution against anyone who dared to *non-consenually* harm any of her new family members.
This post is mostly her transition into finally beginning to seek some of that retribution for Tara, and of course leaving those who consider her family behind, as she's wont to do about once every five years
I had actually been planning on waiting a while longer to make this post, but you know me and my,
Time for more Killing Eve, good night!

Ooh
Silly Kithran, it's not a race
Funny enough, I have made a few courtesan type characters before, and I can't help but think that they'd have appreciated Kithran as a bodyguard, even with shinies going missing on occasion...
Also... I can't wait for... that... to happen now... Rather curious to find out what Kithran's reaction will be...
