Difficult Role playing
Savrit, wouldn't mind but Satya would. Have you though out how you would make it work without giving yourself away? You might have to wrestle her for it.
And you might risk her rage...not good for your health in the short run.

Well...
Why do you think he plays the macho man as soon as they find a lone woman, who seems to have nobody else around?
It's all in the RP. But seriously, it's all good... I hope. I just need a donor if things get bad.

Understandable
I just would hate to accidentally kill a party member when first we meet.
But if you feel Xavier is desperate enough and can pull it off some how by all means give it a try. I just can't promise Satya will be able to stop herself from trying to kill you.

Oh dear...
I have to say I'm looking forward to the blood loss mood swings.
Glad we all get to meet Satya now.

Ahem....
And remember you've got a paladin standing five feet away. I'd recommend not going all "I vant to suck your blood" and showing off your heritage before he knows you a bit better.
At least then there'd be a chance he won't just smite your face off.

Yes
It was brought up in the opening post.
...the sister of the missing boy, saw a black dragon.
The mother of the missing boy was hysterical.
"But my son is missing! This constable is treating our children like criminals and trying to hush them up like this is some fantasy that they concocted to get attention.
I believe there is a real danger outside the city gates and my son could be lost in it! Please, give these children the benefit of the doubt and do SOMETHING to find my son!"
and
While looking for the sender, she found out a child, a young boy of around 10, was missing from the murmurs and gossip whispered and clandestine talk about town.

Question
Ava, I have a question about this Detect Snares and Traps that Lacey is using.
It sounds fairly useful and I was wondering what book it's in so I could see about using it with some of my other characters.
At first I thought it was Detect Snares and Pits that you were utilizing, but after checking that one out I found it was for Druids and Rangers only. I'm always on the lookout for new spells, what book should I flip through to find that one?

Don't worry about me... yet.
I'll be good for blood for a while... this is just my first day without it, as I had some before (and most likely on) my travels out to the town.
And yeah, definitely not going to forcefully attempt to attack the woman with the paladin next to me. If I need to convince anyone I'm the epitome of good, it's him. Plus... my heritage is one of my secrets... I have strange habits because of it.

Time line?
I am a little confused as to how to post next. The very thing that Lacy seems to hear Satya say before she heads through the door was said only to Chiron and Xavier at the very discovery of her in the room, before Sluumiel and Lacy even attempt to enter, and Satya is made aware of their existence. After their entrance no further mention of the puddle or trail to one of the doors is made.
Just wondering if maybe I missed something in the story line progression.

Assumptions
My most recent post (the one about the table) assumes the following:
1) the table functions similarly to a simple wooden door with a break DC of 13 or less so that Taking 10
2) the table, after being broken (approximately) in half, is of a size that will fit into the two doorways
3) everyone else follows along
If one (or all) of these assumptions is incorrect, please let me know and I'll change my post.

Lead
"the man certainly enjoyed taking the lead"
He's nervous. No one asserted themselves as the leader before we got to the house and he feels that the lack of a defined leader is what allowed Lacey to walk off. He's just making sure that doesn't happen again.
Lawful alignments are funny.

To clear up the issue with the map...
I would've assumed that when we began examining the book and the map, we would have laid them out. Then, while it was out, Xavier would've taken it.

Blarg
Deucalion, I'm looking forward to the lawful and chaotic knocking heads. Seluumiel is chaotic by nature and doesn't really see the need for any leadership roles to be established. However she's more than content with letting him think what he wants as long as she agrees with him. It's when the disagreements come up that the fun will begin - call me contentious.
Gboy, don't think there's anywhere to lay them out (besides the floor), but I think the map issue is pretty resolved. Seluumiel had the map now Xavier does. No biggie, just being a little A.R.
