A man of Mylos' on heart

I have to say I agree with Raven the world we live in (in character) is a hard place fraught with many perils and Mylos is the same as Marius though he is more apt to be gruff with his tongue rather than his fists.

Character personalities

I'm not offended! I hope I didn't offend anyone by Anna's reaction. I understand that it's a dark world, and I understand there have been previous perils. But I have a firm character in my mind, and I’m just reacting accordingly. I feel like you two did exactly that with Mylos and Marius, given the situation, and reacted the way the characters would have.

I imagine that this isn’t the first time that either one of them has been gruff, and probably not the first time that she has protested. She values words and coercion, both of which were very prevalent in our Dark and Middle Ages.

Please don’t take it personally. I don’t believe in campaigns where everyone gets along unfailingly all of the time, because even the best of friends have fights. Work together? Absolutely. Hunky Dory 24/7? Eeeehhhh. ^_^ Don’t worry about dropping your character, Raven. I like a little friction.

Goodie goodie

Everything's cool then. However, don't put too much hope on Marius obeying Anna's command.

interaction

Great interaction people. And I don't just mean IN game. These kind of discussions are very much needed in forum games. People trying to get to know the other characters only helps the role playing further. So I'm going to take a moment after this message is done to applaud you all (yes, even YOU, Jozan!).

That being said... the game has been updated. And it's a tricky one from a DM's point of view. I know a lot of people can't handle the way this update ended, but I'm quite sure I shouldn't have ended it any other way, knowing what lies ahead. I hope you'll all be able to cook something nice up for your posts.

Yay

Nice posts again guys. Just wanted to point out one aspect of Marius. He's definitely not a loose cannon or shoot first type. No. He's actually very skilled in judging characters and likes to observe people as much as possible. But on some occasions that just doesn't do the job and a more direct approach is required.

However I' m not saying he might not appear that way to Mylos or someone else for that matter. Of course The gnome can have that kind of a view of Marius and I'm more than ok with that.

Just wanted to clarify that we're not talking about some "regular" gun crazy fighter here.

nice posts so far

they put my 'yeah im still here, but i cant really add much to the story right now' post to shame.

I never figured Marius as the loose cannon type, maybe a little unorthadox, but every adventure needs the loner type character (theyre good for immersion if done right!)

and as for descerning north any map will tell you its up and slightly to the left.(lamejoke)

One side makes you small...

I swear, if we see a discombobulated smile in the trees, or if Chessic shows up, I’ll be the first one to try the cake. ^_^

I’m dying with interest! Can’t wait to see where this is going! As you may have noticed, I usually get my writing done on the weekends since my brain power is usually next to nothing after work during the days. Hope that’s okay, along with my back posting.

Nice

Excellent post again, Celeste.

I have to admit the suspense is killing me too. Not pushing Almerin or anything, but boy, would I like to see an update soon.

Current Post...

I'm hoping for the need to edit this one once the skill check results come back...questions, comments, concerns? Any and all feedback is welcome.

nice

Good posts people! Very workable.

I took the liberty to write a small something on each of you in my update. If anything is not according to character I hope you can work with it.

I've put a lot into Riaucard's cleric/non-cleric thing. I hope this gives you something to work with for your next post. Remember that your post do not only have to cover the reactions of your character, but you can also reflect thoughts and feelings. This helps others understanding your guy, and understanding each others characters helps making the group a better working team and making everything more 'alive'.

Next update will hopefully come next Monday. So waiting with your post until the weekend is fine. As long as it does come. I should urge you all to post as soon as you can, since it gives others the time to react to what you wrote. If we all wait until the weekend, interaction will be reduced to a minimum. That being said I have to add that so far you are all doing a great job at interacting!

Love!

Love love love your word association/transitions between the mini character write-ups, Almerin!

I will endeavor to get my post written before this weekend. Come on easy week!
