This was in my email this morning
Our Mama Bear in the kitchen
I get the feeling if you don't eat your greens she's gonna crack you upside the head with that spoon.

Or...
...she's liable to swat yer bum with it for stealing cookies from the kitchen!
Can I be first?

Look at those drawings! Very nicely done!
That's right, Eol. Go ahead and grab a handful. You'll be first. *grins and winks*

You two are so not right
I believe I'll refrain from grabbing Maggie's cookies. Have at them, Eol.

Cookie Heist
Hey Eol, I bet the to of us could manage to do it, steal the cookies that is. If we were fast enough and could stay out of the spoon's range, I think we'd be safe... I think

*grins*
I ain't gotta outrun the spoon, I just gotta outrun the Doc. *winks*
Also, if someone can arrange for the lights to go out, I'm pretty sure Sully could grab ALL THEM COOKIES and nobody'd see a thing.

hmmm
Engie might kill him, but Ardis knows how to shut off power to certain parts of the ship. :3
Oh by the way, on that note, the Falcon does have electric lights. None of those newfangled electric outlets some people are playing with but the lights are powered by the wind turbines. On that note, if the wind turbines are not working properly or whatever, there are red emergency lights (pulled out of an old submarine) that run off excess power from the sand paddle engine.

No tampering with the power!
I can see it now... Ardis flicks the switch, and then there's a small explosion (like a cracker) from a rigged box next to him. Then there's the sound of running. And then a wild Engie appears!
"Oy, did the fuse blow? I've been trying not to stress the thing too much but guess it can't always be helped. Ah right, let me look at that. Huh? Why is the switch off? I thought it was one of those 'you don't want to turn this thing off' things. That can't be right, maybe some backlog in the piping and a crack in a vent could have caused a strong enough gust that the switch turned itself off. I'd better dismantle the whole thing, see what I can do with it. Though guess I'd better tell Ardis first since it may take a while. Oh, hi there Ardis, didn't see you there. So, you catch all that? We'll be set behind a few hours but I'll see if I can make any minor upgrades while I'm at it."
On that note, Engie's looking pretty close to how I envisioned her. Kind of funny that she does have that kind of Harry Potter look to her. (I think it's the glasses) Part of me is considering drawing Engie as well, but I'm terrible at drawing... people that is.
A device or weapon or crystal? That's what I do well
On another note, for the people who go into the city, there are probably 'missing' posters with a picture that looks remarkably like Elly still around here and there. Her parents always were persistent...

Question...
I know that it's been said that Vexotia is the only city in the desert but are there, perhaps, smaller settlements, trade outposts, or anything else of the sort in our little world?

That's up for debate actually
Supposedly no. Everyone in the city adamantly insists that no one can survive out in the desert for very long.
However, I'm going to say during the travels the Falcon Crew's come across at least one nomadic tribe. There isn't really enough desert traffic that goes on a specific route to sustain any trading post sorts of things and there isn't enough constant water supply to keep a small town alive for long.

With that said...
remember Ardis claims he knows of another city with a bunch of pre-des stuff, but he hasn't taken the Falcon there and is a bit vague when asked about it.

Building a subplot...
Wonder what would happen if an Engie-napping occured once while docked at the city. Like not now but later on.
*gets thoughts, files thoughts away in filing cabinets*
Guess it's something I can think about more XD

Well if they're offering a reward
it is plausible that someone would kidnap her to get the reward. Maybe one of the next times they come into the city.
