Will just throw out some thoughts and remembrances!
Ruling out Flight Powers, but remembering the Legion of Super Heroes with their Flight Rings!
Lightning Lad and later Electro (Spidey villain) zapping foes with lightning bolts!
Shapeshifting is a Cool power and has limitless possibilities for applications!
My exposure to Super Heroes came with my first Brave & Bold comic book featuring the Justice League of America vs Amazo!
Super Speed caught my imagination with The Flash.
When I first got a copy of Fantastic Four #1 vs The Mole Man then I was captivated by all 4 powers and their evolutions over the years.
Stretching abilities, Invisibility, flying and throwing flame balls, strength and tough to be neutralized by an enemy!
Spider-Man exposure was a comic featuring a battle with a Dr Doom Robot in issue 5 or 6 that a friend of mine loaned me to read in high school.
The Hulk #1 was enjoyable and all his incarnations!
I liked the invulnerability aspects and strength that could 'take a lickin and keep on tickin' so The Thing and The Hulk were always fascinating characters.
Being able to shrink and be invisible would be interesting.
Ray Palmer aka The Atom was always interesting in the earlier comics featuring him!
Leaping around like Spider-Man or The Hulk and smashing things would certainly alter the day of a lot of people!
Ice-Man was my favorite original X-Man and mind powers were a cool thing also!
One of my favorite Summer Annuals featured The Thing where there was an 'Intergalactic Olympics' where Super Powered beings from all over the galaxy were being teleported to a big arena planet to fight each other!
When they came to Earth, several of the Marvel Super Heroes were considered, but they chose The Thing to represent planet Earth in the competition!
Ben Grimm refused to give up even though his rock skin was chipped away and he was shown bleeding!
He refused to give up!
