Oh... a silver screen moment is basically a scene that no one else is really supposed to interact with, so to speak... it's there to add dramatic effect and/or "give a glimpse at something elsewhere in the world".

I'm thinking I'll weigh in on our staffing issue, my thought is that it makes sense to have someone from ops fill both the gamma tac and ops shift if they're cross trained they should be able to operate everything from their station and if the fur really starts to fly either myself or ody will be up on the bridge in a hurry anyway. Obviously the call isn't mine but that frees up a security or tactical person for other duties.

Since I'm having such a blast with these character portraits, already, I'm giving very serious consideration to putting something "close to presentable" (a la the Drake and Zai) pics for all of the characters (at least the PCs, anyway)...

I've got a good idea as to what Chief Cook looks like (Katee Sackhoff), and Ody's posted as pic of his idea of Lt Reid, so I'm comfortable with just snatching those up and running with them. Others, like Dr Moore, Lt Lasad, Lt Berk, Lt McTavish, etc, I have my own tenuous visions of how I think they might look - for instance, Dr Moore's description almost calls to mind Susan Sarandon, for some reason, and Dio, in my mind, looks a bit like the guy who played Ra in the Stargate movie (Jaye something, I think was his name)... *shrugs* ...


Anyway, like I said, I'm more than willing to whip a pic up if anyone wants to clarify how they imagine their characters a bit. It's not like the things take me hours and hours or anything... basically just some photoshop magic, really... (Besides, if you don't tell me, I'm liable to make one for you, anyway - I won't post it to a character profile without getting your blessing, however.

Ok, another post from Chief Cook. Just having some fun. I hope it is alright that I borrowed most of the CPOs from the ship. It is a Chief's game after all.

I hope it is a good post. I try to do my research when I post such things. I'm not much of a long poster, not like Brom or Eol for sure, but I tend to have decent length ones I think.

Way to pick up those NPCs and work them in! The only thing that really gave me any pause was the use of Lauren Crane... I kind of think she's supposed to be confined to quarters at the moment. Although, given the time that your post occurs, it may be possible that Lt Sh'iraolnas has lifted that restriction... Ask Brom to be sure.
