Bull's Strength
I have by my account 1 seceond level spell free... most of my first level's all my 0 levels (since all I used were my freebie ghost sounds in the last foray)
And with Versatile spellcaster I can swap extra smaller ones for larger ones. So I can cast a bull's strength on you, or as I said, Teleport your free of your chains, though as I also noted, getting free is only the first of our problems being severely wounded and outnumbered.

Back from Strategicon
Do not have two brain cells to rub together today. Both Jeanne and I are sleep deprived. Lucky to have gotten 4 hours of sleep a night, since Frday morning.

Bangs forehead a few times on/with [insert weapon here]
the Spell! The SPELL !! Doh!
Yeah, the spell thing could work, but the rage thing added to it could work against us, or at least him.
Rage is a single-minded, instinctive thing. It's not like concentration, which he cannot use or do for the duration. And after the rage, running and hard physical exertion is out. He's not bab-weak, but neither will he be at "peak form" ...
Certain skills and abilities requiring, Wis and Int (and some requiring Dex and Str), are beyond him during and/or immediately after the rage. As weak as he is hp-wise, I'd opt for the Str + Spell combo and hope that works. if necessary, he can rage if they get cornered.
As far as teleporting him out of his chains? I don't think you can get that selective with what you teleport (but I'm not versed on ALL the types of teleportation). In my mind, it's like trying to teleport him out of his armor. Usually, when you teleport or dimension-shift someone or something, all of it goes, not just selective or selected parts ...
I could be wrong ...
Another possibility would be teleporting someone who is already freed, agile, dextrous, limber, sneaky, etc., to sneak out and get something we need, then sneak that back to us to use (?)

Teleportation
I'm under the impression by the spell descriptions, that "you and your possessions are teleported," Since the chain certainyl isn't a wanted possession, it would be left behind, and even if it were not, it would simply go with you to dangle around wherever you got to lol..
But yes, perhaps I can get one of us out... Malius or Elessarae, but in doing so I have a feeling that as soon as one guard realizes one of us is missing, we'll all be in for trouble.

Hmmm ...
I think Iundertand your reasoning, but if that's the case, then if you were to teleport me wearing leather armor and a backpack, then the armor and backpack would end up around my ankles wherever I arrived ...
I don't see "a person and possessions are transported" as being "what you desire or wish to transport". I see it as the person and whatever is "attached" or "worn", clothing, armorm, gear, weapons, held items, etc. And the chains, being "attached", would remain so/ But it might be wise to get a specific ruling on it from Almerin. He might allow it.

hmmm
Kaelyn:
I don't know about how many 0 level spells you have left. We should've specified how many spells you sacrificed to throw boulders at the hordes on the mountain.
I don't think you have a 2nd level spell left, for the same reason. If you had one left, the destruction and amount of boulders would not have been so high.
As for dimension-hopping, I have to agree with Wyrmstring, you belongings and stuff attached to you would hop with you, so the bonds would stay. Logically speaking. But I like the idea, so I may pass it for this time. BUT, I don't think you need magic or high stats to get out of this cage, and if I have any say in the matter, I'd rather see Kurok break his bonds than use a dimension hop. The odds of him breaking it are good enough (I didn't tell you that, don't let the DM hear it, ok? )
Now the only thing is, can you muster a 2nd level spell by sacrificing lower ones? How does that work?

LOL @ seeing what I wasn't supposed to see ...
I had already come to the conclusion that you didn't mention.
Having seen that which I wasn't supposed to see (umm ..., or know, erm ... or hear, ... whatever), I finished the post [on edit] ...

hehe
Versatile Spellcaster, the feat I've had for practically forever, allows the 'turning in of lower level spell slots for bigger ones. So two 1st level spells to cast a second level one or 2 0 level to cast a 1st or 4 0 to cast a second etc etc. (since 0 level spells cast a .5 a spell slot.)
However, I'm waiting more for the results of Kurok's strength more than anything.

Okay
First, must teach big brudder to close out of any accounts when hs isn't on the computer (even if it IS his computer). I poste an update and didn't notice until later that I was on his account. I just went and did ...
But I guess I COULD take the time to read the screen and make sure I am in/on the right account before I post ... ... ... NAH!
Anyhoo ... Got most of what I wanted, but not all. At the same time I got more than I expected. Compliments to the DM and all involved !!

No post from me
AL I am swamped with RL rt now with studing for my second EPA attempt on Monday, homework and real life Commitments.
Gonna have a hard enough time posting to my own game so please forgive me.
I will tell you that Malius is trying to locate his Ferrets through his bond with them to make sure they are ok and for future use.

Ummm,. Brianna?
If'n ya back-read a little bit, you'll notice that Kurok is the only one (now) that is obviously not bound, having just recently broken his chains in full view of the entire gathering outside the cage-wagon ...
So he can shake your hand, and will do so willingly and gladly.

confused
Flexible or not, if you're pretending to still be tied, how is it you can pat Geim on the shoulder?
Chains? Kurok can do more damage with his fist(s). But they will make a decent enough DEFENSIVE weapon, to entagle other weapons or limbs and bring wielder closer so he can "reach out and touch" them ...
