I imagine even if Aranwen stops slipping with that usage of 'we', she will actually request it from Mosic the next morning, prior to the group's departure.

Even so, that's not who you were expecting to be sharing Aranwen's mind-space, I take it?

Now, some behind the scenes: Morgana is essentially using Saeriel as bait to bring Aranwen to her and Spiderlily, and that enchantment was intended a way to prove that the offer to reuinite them was genuine.

Kithran striking Morgana interrupted her concentration, which left Aranwen very disorientated, but in a far better state than if Morgana had finished what she also intended to do with that enchantment.

Being the conduit of that particular spell, the destruction of the Sae-doll would have put an end to it. Morgana counted on no one having any desire to do so and, as it turned out, she was right.

Damn Kith and her sentimentality toward trinkets!

I was expecting a Morgana-doing-a-Sae-impression, in Ara's head, but in the Spider/Morg silver screen, there's a sleeping Sae... right? She really is alive?! Or is it just a really really really good puppet? I don't know, man, I just don't know.

Heya! Porter Robinson came out with a new song the other day, with a theme I thought might hit home for one or two or all of our characters at the start of HC2: Tokyo Drift.

The song is called Get Your Wish and he wrote it about how after he rose in popularity (at least he's suuuper popular in the EDM world, I'll post some of my favs below ) he had a really difficult time writing and creating, despite his love of music and his audience. Eventually, what gave him the motivation to begin and finish writing again was how much support he received from his fans, and their love of what he created.

For him, he was able to continue on, not necessarily for himself, but because others needed him to.

That sentiment just sounded familiar to me  You can read his much better telling of his story here, if you're interested.

Easy - This song just makes me so happy. It's so joyful, and it just has that repeated line, "Cause lovin' you is easy!" It's just sweet and I'm a softy mcsofty soft.

Shelter - This is another just super sweet song

Sad Machine - Unlike the first two, this one isn't as feel goody, as you can maybe tell from the title. It's one I enjoy, I don't know, atmospherically? And maybe you will too!

Language - This one may tie with Easy as my favorite Porter song. There aren't many lyrics, but the song (after the little intro) really builds for me, and just makes me feel so good listening to it. I also really like pretty much all of PR's music videos, and this one is no exception.

If I wanted to push this forward, hypothetically, what, hypotheically, would be waiting around the next few corners, hypothetically?

...what a GREAT song! I can definitely see those lyrics applying to more than one of our characters going forward in HC2. Added to my playlist! 

Secondly - moving forward in this one: I'm thinking our little party is getting pretty close to Adedre's chambers by this point. I'd say we're looking at a handful of skeletons and a half-dozen guards or so before we reach that doorway. Then we've got a few more guards inside the slitch's chamber and, of course, Tecla and Adedre, herself... Not sure what other surprises Morgana's workings might have for us but that's about what I was envisioning.

I can write a li'l sum' sum', having us wreak some havoc up to her door, and leave it to one of you from there--unless, like you said, Morgana has some more tricks up her shadowy sleeves.

that particular song is one I've listened to a lot and kind of speaks to me on a personal level

I've always had an affinity towards characters who are robots or AI, so the lyrics have always felt like they are in reference to an AI being 'awoken' to thought and will and then 'she depends on you' just reiterating that it is more than an AI; it's a child that will become an independent being eventually but for right now is still but a child.

Anyhow... why are you talking about Morgana still having something up her sleeve? She's not still there, is she?
