Aelistae even started the song without Dylan.

Hehe
Even if I was planning to do something other than sing, Aelistae has forced my hand. No self-respecting Bard lets a party member get the music out alone. When I get home and am relieved of a portion of this homework-y burden, I shall write up a neat post to fill in when Aelistae pauses to chug the potion.
Whatever the outcome of this, it's going to be fun.
EDIT: Listening to the song right now and pondering post.

Yeah now we're doomed. Cheers Chris.
I was just thinking that it might be an idea for people to bounce ideas/strategy of one another (if people don't mind the slight metagaming that involves).

Metagame
I've got a couple options that I've been considering but I can't decide which one most greatly helps our side. As long as we're opening up the metagame can-o-worms...
A) The drow priestess is within range of Talus' eldritch blast, so I could throw 3d6 her direction, but that would probably only work once since she could just levitate/fly up a bit and be out of harm's way... although she may not know she's hovering right at the edge of the spell's effective range
B) If Bolikar looks like he's going to throw any more rocks I could shatter them just after he hurls them down at us... the catch here is that it'll only work if the stone weighs 60lb or less and if it fails I've wasted a ready-action for nothing
C) Ignore the big bads, and just keep down what I'm doing to keep the minions at bay.
Does anyone have anything we can use to capitalize on the light-sensitivity of the drow and the orcs?
EDIT:
Kaelyn, If you're not a fan of the combat strategizing OOC, lemme know and I'll gut this post and refrain from adding more.

Playing smart vs meta-gaming.
If we were gaming around a table. Certain table talk and strategies would be expected. I don't consider those together in the game strategizing as wrong. Now if bri or dm suddenly posted or suggested that they had a potion of neutralize disease for aelistae., then i might have an issue because there's no possible reason for them to come to that plan of action due to their positions. So talk amongst yourselves and i'll make judgement call if i think someone is crossing the line.

Deuce...
Well for obvious reasons I'd love for Talus to snipe at the Lolthite priestess with his eldritch blasts.
I have a feeling that the boulders Bolrikar is throwing are heavier and heftier than 60 lbs, if only because he managed to crush Atharam's squire and his horse in one hit.
Whatever you decide, I don't think we should waste too may resources on killing the grunts (unless we absolutely have to). The enemy have revealed their full hand, and we should respond accordingly by trying to knock off the drow witch and the over-fed orc asap.

strategy you say?
If Bolikar throws anymore rocks, I shall have vivid images of Mini-Fridges sailing through the air and crushing random people, thanks to an earlier description.
I'm probably going to go a simple route; step back, sheath, and start singing. If Linnix is very close, I might just flank her, to protect one of both of our sides from an enemy. If we cluster together (those of us weaklings) we can save ourselves from being surrounded individually, though should Bolikar throw a boulder our way, the (however many of us gather together) of us are all dead.
Considering that I can let my music take affect without me for 5 rounds, I can make good use of that time fighting again.
To Talus: If you have some feat or another (Precise Shot?) that allows you to land shots directly, I would recommend going for the Spider-Kisser. If not, it is a touch attack, so -4 to avoid Aelistae shouldn't prevent every attack, but you may wish to consider other targets.
Watch out for low-flying mini-fridges

Alright!
Well, the post I have been promising took off this evening, enjoy! I decided to go ahead and deliver an exposition of Dylan's background, since it was pretty well happening all around. I realized that I had been forgetting to award CD points, so those who may have deserved them in the past will (probably) receive one from me this time (hehe, just when everyone is suddenly shooting into full throw of their character's exposition, at least those who weren't already doing that)

Yay!
Yay! That's why I didn't reply the first night after, or even for the next few days. I wanted to be sure I had adequate time to do justice. After that, things just kept flowing. ^-^ Thank-you. Admitedly, you started it

Yes, I quite agree. Aelistae is a better bard.

Sorry Ginafae
Talus is a little naive.
I wanted to blast the priestess. I started the post planning on shooting her...
I'm glad you've got Linnix helping out, 'cause I have no idea what Talus is doing now.

No worries. I have a feeling that Talus' arcane bolt thingy might have fizzled against the Lolthite's spell resistance anyhow.
It's an interesting theory that Talus has got, but I think it's far more likely that the Lolthite is subtly pulling the strings here. The idea of having webs of deceit on deceit is something that would amuse the Spider Queen after all. And what would be more deceptive than setting up an orc (orc-giant thing?) as a god, and getting lowly goblins to worship him in order to harm feeble surface creatures?
That would be what Aelistae (and myself) would probably make of the situation at any rate.
