Drive?
No need to drive me to insanity... I live within walking distance... save the gas, it's expensive.

what drives me insane?
Noise. Loud noise. Annoying, stupid noise.

You can't drive ...
... one to a place where they already reside. Insanity is a haven for me, but I don't hear voices. You don't need voices to put on the shows we do...
But what sent me over the precipice was a screeching avian-type bird with a voice that would make your brain and eyeballs explode ...
So what's your favorite pet? Or can I ask that?

I see now
I would have to say My favorite pet is Tigger, no Tigger is not a cat, he is in fact a dog, although a truly interesting one. He is not like most dogs. Well to begin with, his breed is a Catahoula Leopard Hound. He is of The Fairbanks line at 65 pounds He is brindle in color. He is often confused with a pit bull but in truth he is in no way pit... His Breed has been used for hunting feral pigs, squirrel, deer, raccoon and black bear. But anyways... That's about all I can tell you for now...

Itsa doge!
My favorite pet is my dog Joe. He's official name is Little Joe, but the range of names we use for him is very long (Joey, Joseph, Big Ol'Joe, That Giant Lump, etc.) He is a Bullmastiff/Rottweiler mix and is a very dark brindle colour. Camo Dog is another of his many names because he blends in so perfectly. He owns the couch.. and I do mean, truly owns... If he doesn't want you to sit on his couch, he can use his brute strength and 133 pounds to back it up and knock you from the couch as if you were walking on a tight rope. One of the reasons he is my favourite pet is because he is incredibly loyal. And out-smarts people with BA degrees! He really is a great cuddly bear to sit on his couch with. It just puts a smile on my face to have him around.

Love just about any animal
...but cats fit into our lifestyle best. Our current owner is a brown tabby by the name of Rose. When we decided to not declaw her, we explaned to our then six year old daughter that she'd have to be careful of getting scratched.
Mighty Miss V then declared that the kitten should be called Rose, because "Roses have thorns, too". The cat gets called Rose, Rosey Rose, Rosebud, Rosebutt, Lumpy (sleeps under the bedcovers all day, making our bed lumpy)and whatever else comes to mind, but it's kinda silly. It's not like she comes when you call her name
Previous cat was named Winsome, which was also silly, because although beautifully marked (tabby patches on a white coat), she was the meanest, most spiteful thing you've ever met, being nice to only Alacrity and I and barely tolerating Mighty Miss V.
We had a hard time selling our house because we had to confine her to the basement when people came to view the house, and she spent the whole time banging her head against the door and growling. No-one asked to see the basement, though!

Favorite?
Not certain, but interesting ...
Mine is one just recently "adopted". Own? Not hardly. About as much as a human owns a cat, or wins an argument with a parrot. What sparked my concern for his welfare was his initial reaction to me; one of uncertain hostility, which I hope to train out of him, hopefully without changing it into a directed, focused hostility.
Not certain what it is exactly, but it answers to Grugg ...
(?)

Ahem!
BUT -- you see, he can't be absolutely certain that we are not, for he doesn't know what I know ...
Oh, I DO love a conundrum ...
