Woohoo - getting good
Great posts so far. With Wyatt's course of action I need specifics for my next move.
How will Wolf try to intercept Chad? Will he get between him and Pearson with the mule? Or will he go around in front of him and try to cut him off from running. A thrid option would be to barrel over him but I assume you don't want to do that.
It's Tann's call but I allow discussion of options.

I say...
.. run him down.. then he cant be connected to the group!
But if that isnt an option.. then cut him off with the mule says I. Might be easier if he is captured and turned over to the Sheriff.

Ok the PLAN!
I'm going to use the Mule to block him while at the same time try to time it to knock him off his feet to help capture him.
Kinda like in all those movies where as the bad guy turns the corner the car is rt there to knock him on his/her butt .
Do I need to put that in a game post or is it ok just stating my intent here??

Don't be hasty
Lots of stuff happened, but don't get too ahead of yourself. I'd remind you that gunning down a law man in front of lots of witnesses will NOT get you off this planet any time soon.

No, not surprised...
...I don't think Sam was even surprised by that, actually... I do think, though, that it's like to twist his gut a bit and he'll likely have more issues with Pearson being on the boat than he might have had originally, though... especially given the look in the townfolks eyes and such.
Gunning down a lawman in front of witnesses may not be a great idea, but Sam's considering it... not liable to do it, of course, but definitely pondering on it some.

Just waiting on Wyatt and Wolf to post. Prehaps if they can do so before the weekend, I can move this space opera further along.

Speaking of Wolf...
... I've finally got a character pic done for our big lug of a mechanic (and have had for a few days)... just need to remember to upload and link it (tonight, I'm hoping...). Look for it in the Characters of Rocinante thread a bit later.
EDIT: Or tonight, I guess, since I couldn't stay connected at home last night for whatever reason.

Yeah
This is one of the scenes that really drew me to this module. It is a real moral question wrapped up in a power play and smothered in potential innocent victims. It is sorta like having the stand off in the pilot episode of Firefly between Mal and Patience, but in a Central Park.
