My vacation ...
..... starts on the 4th so I am looking forward to being away from the office for a few weeks!
My flight is on Sunday morning which is late Saturday night your time, so Saturday is my last day for any posting until I gain computer access somewhere in the States for the necessary time to post messages!
Really looking forward to this adventure by the way!

Rat
says have a happy and safe Indy Day!
Also, Rat is leaving next Wed AM early, and not returning for 10 days. There is some, but probably not good, possibility that he will be able to access and comment from the 9th thru the 19th. (He will try.
Manipulate him as you see fit during that time, Captain.

Follow that dog!
Considering everything we have been told, I think we must follow those dogs. It doesn't sound wise in some ways, but I'd hate to lose poor little sprinkles, and we must start somewhere.
Whose dumb idea was it to get dogs anyway?

The dogs...
Must sense something and it would be a shame to lose them so early on I think we should try to keep up with them if we can.

Vision and Voice has ...
..... been posted at Oaks Heart with the info that was in the PM from ShadowDragon!
Not sure when I will be able to update or edit what I have written and all my character info is on the laptop back in Doha, so I will just have to write some things from memory!

Group post up
Well, I think that post works with what people have been saying. As always, voice opposition.
SD - I am a bit curious about the woods around us. Is there enough room to see that a bow seems useful? How far can I see? As the best fighter in the group I am hesitant to get caught with just a bow in my hands, but if visability allows I want it. Jsut diggin' for info.
Also, did the dogs head towards or away from the "evil looking woods?" Wasn't that more on one side of the road than the other?

The dogs went down the ravine in the evil side of the woods. visability is about 50' normal vision due to the misty fog that is hugging the ground in the ravine your infravision is good and viable in the dim light conditions. From what you can tell of the dark woods the vegataion is mostly dense undergrowth under spaced out broken and twisted trees. kind of like an area that's been clearcut harvested after say 6 to 10 years. bow might be tricky if your going to try for speed as well.

Sword it is
Anvil will put away his bow and carry his sword and shield - both out and ready for action.
Thanks for the info.

Rat
thinks - it just may be a friend or helpful ally up that tree; with the dogs only barking at it, he suggests proceedind with caution to find what is up that tree. Rat is a great climber and is prepared to go up if it helps. He has hooks and ropes, too. Indeed, he is thinking more in line to give the being a chance to be friendly as a first action.
