Puppy...
Here's a challange for the Save that Puppy show:
The puppy (in this challange called Prize) is placed on a 30 feet collumn. Said collumn is placed in the middle of a pool of boiling water, 30 feet away from any solid ground. Additionally, said column is covered in broken glass and glue. To make things interesting, Prize is on fire and the contestant is covered in soda. As soon as the contestant reaches the collumn (assuming that he does reach it) a swarm of killerbees are released into the area.
To finish this trial, Prize must be brought dry and not aflame to the judges.
Other than that, how about Extreme Puppy Hunting?

ideas
Wait, you love the idea of flaming puppies but puppy hunting is cruel? Interesting...
This Save the Puppy thing gives me ideas for trials or games for D&D... maybe at a fair or something. And flaming puppies gives me an idea for a spell.
Puppy hunting could be alot of fun, although as a sport it would be rather dull.

well...
as long as you're planning to eat what you kill I 'spose Puppy Hunting is ok.
What kind of spell was hatched by the thought of Flaming Puppies?

books!
I would have to consult my books, but I guess it would be similar to the Flaming Sheep spell my friend invented, in which case the spellcaster would summon forth a flaming puppy which would then explode.
