What is the common age of someone entering the Star Fleet Academy and how long does it take to graduate.

As for when a person would enter, I'd say the youngest is as soon as you are an adult, like university/college. For a human, that's 18. However, you can apply much later on.

I knew a 12 yr old in college. 18 sound average age to go to college, So how many years does it take to get through the Academy?

The Academy is a four year program. However, do note that many Academy enrollees have already completed some college and/or have a degree - especially those in more "learned" disciplines (engineering, science, medicine).

So a new graduate would typically be in their early to mid twenties.

Our last potential "department head" position has been filled - Glory of Gallifrey is going to play the role of our Ship's Counselor, Venn Constantine. Venn will have been on board for a year or so prior to our game.

What year is this based in, I don't recognize the stardate method your using.

The year is 2368. For ease of reading, we only use "offical" stardate notation (45305.4) when someone is stating in in character.

is this D20 based or Simm based?
