Progress
We're starting to get back on track here. I know my updates are a little lacking lately, but in all truth, I fell out of things for a while there, and getting back in is taking some work. Once we start building a little steam, I'll be back in force! So lets get those posts in, and I'll update again ASAP.

Well..
One post. Did we lose interest here? Or are people just busy and not notifying me?

Two posts...
Just waiting on Kaelyn and Steelight. I've seen Steelight around, though not Kaelyn.
I think I'm to blame on this delay, though, as Tobias was the one with information to share, and it took me nearly a week to post. Again... my apologies.

I was getting some more definitive answers from Tek about the trapdoor itself.

Okay
Updating tomorrow. A sudden schedule change made things complex, and left me unmotivated to post. We'll be back on track A.S.A.P.

I did manage a post though! And the game updates now come through on my phone so I'll be btter prepared for on the go posting.

New System
Due to my want to be able to keep this rolling, and to shorten combats (on a standard posting schedule, a single combat event might take us a month to resolve over a post-by-post format) I'll be introducing something drawn upon from Dragon Age, FFXII, Star Ocean, and so forth. Just condensed.
Behaviours!
I'll compile a list of different behaviours from which you can select one per combat (Not per round). This way, it'll make things easier to do things even up to an entire turn in one update from me, allowing us to keep things rolling at a quicker rate.
And as such, here we go...
Give It Everything You've Got: Go all out against a target, each round, every round. Little regard for one's own well-being.
Press The Advantage: Keep things moving if things are working in your favour.
Be Discretionary: Paying regard to defense, and trying not to expose oneself.
Support Party Member: Focus on helping others. Ranges from trying to flank an enemy, to protecting a side, to picking somebody up when he falls.
Medic: Focus entirely on being supportive and making sure others keep going.
Showy Caster: Focus on casting offensive spells (Set up a list of what you would wish to be used)
Supportive Caster: Focus on casting defensive and supportive spells (Set up a list of what you would wish to be used)
Improvise The Situation: If something is at hand and can be used to help you, it gets used.
Keep Your Distance: Ranged. Move accordingly to enemies positions.
From Every Angle: Always try to maintain a blind spot on an enemy.
Wrangler: Make a point of using disabling techniques, such as trip, bull rush, disarm, and grappling.
Take Him Alive: Try to subdue a target by any means necessary. Not kill.
For the time being, we'll sit with these ones. It covers a pretty good range of situations, and of course, specific things can be thrown in with an OOC (Medic: Do not use spells, Wrangler: Pin if opponent goes down) but this should greatly help to speed things up and allow me to wrap up non-major combats in one update, or two at the very most.

Happening
Update today, since everybody got their posts in on time. Looks like we're back on track here. Let's try to keep it that way.

Slight delay
Update is half done. Incapable of finishing it before heading off to work, sadly, but it will be done when I return home tonight.
Also, need to know...who is going to light a torch or use some means of generating light? If nobody speaks up by the time I get home, its going to be Tobias or Kresimir.

Well..
I suppose Nick could cast Light on something if nobody else wants to provide a light source. Perhaps his Holy Symbol...

I think that's a good idea
a holy symbol you can at least hide or tuck away if we need to stop the light... and we can still see it past us protecting you.
